Does anyone know where this cat lives ?
TWB Cat Sitter replied to Jld's topic in Lost, Found or Stolen
Good Evening Jld, If you haven't already, please try reposting this to your street's Whatsapp group & Facebook's community groups. I would offer to pop round & scan for a microchip as I'm very close by, but as you say, this cat is not easy to get close to & feeding to coax them any closer would be risky given the symptoms you've described. Unfortunately, our team do not recognise this cat. -
Hi Emmie, Cats are very territorial, so please just be aware that they don't like being taken out of their home environment, & it could lead to behaviourial issues further down the line. Please do consider using a trusted & reliable cat sitting company. We are always happy to help https://www.thewinglessbird.com/ [email protected]

I'm so sorry to hear Rexy has gone missing. Our team carry scanners & will be keeping an eye out for him on our daily travels. In the meantime, Dox can print & deliver free posters to your door https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ . Best times to call for Rexy will be dusk & dawn when felines are generally at their most active & there will be less city noise that could send him into hiding.

MISSING CAT IN SE15 bordering SE22 We were devastated to hear that one of our client’s cats has been missing & hasn’t come home for over 24 hours! This is out of character for a cat like Olive. She is spayed, microchipped & has a loving family home where she is pampered. She doesn’t roam the streets, as she is not allowed out the front door. She is very friendly & may be wandering through your back gardens. Please contact us if you have any sightings or information on where she could be. DM us on FB or IG or email [email protected] Please share if you live in the immediate area. Thank you 🙏🏻💖 https://www.thewinglessbird.com/contact

Hi Neighbours! With Halloween fast approaching, let's make it easy for families to find those welcoming, spooky doorsteps around East Dulwich. If your street is planning to hand out treats, share the location here! It'll help families plan their routes & make sure no little ghouls & goblins miss out on the fun. Looking forward to a safe & festive Halloween 🎃 Here's one of our oh-so adorable little lions @ twb. as we're all getting into the Halloween spirit!

My team & I have been trying to capture this cat for a very long time. He needs to be checked out by a vet. Please, if your neighbour has not reached out to Celia Hammond already, inform them that this cat needs to be collected for a thorough check-up & neutering. He is in a shocking state, poor guy. This picture really masks the severity of his injuries. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if there's any way we can help. - The Wingless Bird.

In that concerned passerbys defense, it was a stupidly irresponsible move on Maria's part to let her cat out on the streets of Lordship Lane. Let's not pretend Lordship Lane is a safe place for unsupervised animals to be hanging out at. You've lived in East Dulwich long enough to know just how many cats are run over.

Cats & dogs are not an ideal option for a child's first pet. I would recommend opting for a more low-maintenance animal, such as fish or hamsters. The issue is when children get bored & the responsibility falls on to the parent, but the parent doesn't have the enthusiasm to train a dog or provide daily enrichment for a cat. They are expensive, & vet bills do add up. Eventually they end up being put up for adoption, which is incredibly sad, as these animals build connections. To genuine lovers of animals, they are family. - having said this, if the above doesn't apply to you, I would recommend https://www.celiahammond.org/

Cats are not bound to any location unless you give them a reason to want to stay. It sounds like he's receiving attention & entertainment elsewhere, if like you say, he has multiple homes & goes missing for days... Does he not have dedicated areas ie. beds, scratching posts, toys, litter trays, a feeding schedule? If he's wondering Crystal Palace Rd, this isn't particularly safe for him. Sadly, I've known a lot of cats to get run over by speeding cars down Crystal Palace Rd over the years. Please consider providing him with safe back garden access, with all the comforts that would make a location feel like home for him. Kindest, Heather { The Wingless Bird }

luca's was a cafe situated on North Cross Road. I've been told that Forest, currently on Frogley Rd, will be taking over.

It might have to do with the 3 guys who held a deliveroo driver at knife point on Copleston Rd. The police have a description.

Dog walker kicked dog on Champion Hill
TWB Cat Sitter replied to arj's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The difference between a professional & a hobbyist. There are too many self-proclaimed cat sitters & dog walkers who think this is an easy job, an easy way to make money. They have no idea what they are doing. -
Southwark Christmas tree collection
TWB Cat Sitter replied to staplemeg's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I've been finding it very strange that people have gone out of their way to buy trees only to have them strewn along the sidewalk as early as the 2nd day of Christmas... Is it not common knowledge that Christmas is a 12 day event, & that we are only half way through it? -
