Hello all, I have lost my letter and can't remember when the CPZ kicks in this month. Can anyone please advise?
-
Well let's hope we have somehow given her life a much needed thrill and she can bother somebody else. 🤣

On Friday evening a woman knocked on my door around 10.30pm and woke me up. My housemates who were upstairs spoke to her and she advised she has been monitoring our property and believed we were having people over. We actually are a house of 7 and have never broken any lockdown rules or any rules around noise. I feel really uncomfortable about being watched by our neighbours particularly when we have done nothing wrong. I don't even know who it could be as I didn't recognise the description. Has anyone encountered anything similar to this?

This has been driving me mad for weeks! Looks like it but think they've added in stuff so looks different in the ad?! Glad you have confirmed and I can now sleep at night >.

I dropped my phone yesterday whilst out walking on Greendale field yesterday. I have tracked the phone to a block of flats on Arnould Avenue and have sent messages but no one is replying. I have also tried ringing and it's still switched on so I'm hoping I can appeal to someone's better nature and get it back. It has a really precious and irreplaceable photo of my Grandmother and me just before she died and I have only just realised I don't have it backed up anywhere (not sure why it wasn't backed up automatically on the cloud) if you found a phone or know anyone who did, please please please come forward. I am willing to offer a reward for it's safe return. Many thanks Jemma

I noticed the partial skinning too. I have been in touch with SNARL and they asked me to take more photos today (a thoroughly unpleasant job) I have sent them the photos and they will take a look and decide if they need to investigate further.
-
I have also notified the council.
-
This fox had been dead a while judging by the decomposition.
-
Thanks! I have reported it to SNARL just now. :(

Hi all, I found a decapitated fox over Greendale this morning. Just a heads up as my dogs were extremely interested in it and I had to drag them away. It's over the bit that's really overgrown so easily avoided. Quite a horrific sight. Can't think what would've done that to it. 😢😞

I'd be hugely interested in this! The one on Nunhead Lane seems to be doing very well! Having one close by would be really convenient and I'd definitely go! So fed up of plastic waste. I'd love it if I could buy all of what you mentioned but also toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo would be amazing!

Hello all, In the last week we had a person from Southwark Council knock on the door and ask us all to show our passports to verify we are who we say we are. She was pretty rude and aggressive and insinuated we had been purposely avoiding her. She had a southwark badge and the paperwork with our names on for our house but I just wanted to check if anyone has been asked to show passports on the doorstep? Seemed quite odd. Also we have always voted so I'm not sure why we're not on the register anyway. Any clues would be really appreciated. Many thanks Jem

Hi all, My wife left her bag and jacket outside Edt last night and now it's gone. It's a turquoise blue hippie style bag made of woven fabric and has a pattern on it and the jacket was a dark blue denim one with black arms. There was nothing of any value in it but a note book, some mens perfume and a ravel mug. I know it doesn't sound worth chasing but the mug had sentimental value and the note book had some important stuff in it.

Commercial dog walker with dogs off lead
pixie_jem replied to pixie_jem's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I think it's supposed to be 4 (possibly?) but not sure if this is ever enforced. The woman was probably late 30's, early 40's. Average height, white, I think she sounded German. Makes me so cross! -
Hi all, Just a thing to look out for. I encountered a woman today walking down the Greendale track and then onto Greendale fields. She had around 8 (possibly more) dogs all off lead and they were coming towards me and my dog (on lead) she didn't try to control them and several of them ran up to my dog who is quite anxious anyway. One of them, a golden lab, went for my dog and nipped his ear. She just shrugged it off and said the dog isn't aggressive. That maybe so and I'm more than aware that dogs sometimes have a pop at eachother with no real aggression but I just think 8+ dogs off lead is just asking for trouble. I'd give them a swerve if any dog walkers see them. She didn't seem to care or apologise for the incident.

Advertisements DO NOT go in this section
pixie_jem replied to Family Room Moderator's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, Where do ads go? I'm wanting to post for an after school arts and crafts group! Many thanks Jem -
Hello all, I run kid's club at the Picture House on Saturday's which proves to be very popular and was thinking about setting up a club somewhere in Dulwich for myself along the same lines, arts and crafts for the kids and and time for mum's, dads, carers etc to hang out or run errands, maybe twice a week. I wanted to get an idea on whether parents etc of pre schoolers might be interested in something that is tailored to toddlers or whether there is anything around that's similar already? Any feedback would be great! Many thanks Jem x

Dog Friendly East Dulwich - what is/isn't
pixie_jem replied to mannymanuel's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The new restaurant/cafe Spinach on LL allows dogs during the day but not for the dinner service. The cherry tree is also dog friendly! Picture House is not! -

Hi all, Does anyone know of any groups for lesbians in ED. Posted a thread a while back and someone did tell me about a group that meet at the Rye. Does anyone know anymore about it and if they're still meeting? Cheers Jem
