  1. "more congestion and higher speeds" just confirms the abject failure of this so-called "Low Traffic" neighbourhood.
  2. Even if evaporation does happen in some LTNs the councils data shows that it has jot happened in Lordship Lane and East Dulwich Grove (East). Those areas now have worse traffic than we had before Covid. There is onyy one explanation for that.
  3. Dogs should be banned from this park altogether. Let them have Goose Green which has already been turned into a giant dog toilet by selfish owners and keep the rest of our parks clean and safe.
  4. Youngs don't operate like that though smooch. Their pubs are managed freeholds. They don't have tenanted pubs
  5. That Southwark data shows that in Goose Green ward the traffic has gone up massively. Its above pre covid levels here whereas everywhere else in London it is still down. We warned time and again that LTNs displaced traffic and that it would be this side of Dulwich that would suffer it. And the council data now proves those predictions right. Remember when Mcash said if the LTNs don't work for everyone they would be removed? And now the data shows they only work for people West of Goose Green what has he done for his own constituents? Nothing at all.
  6. I think that Young's actually do have the resources that Wetherspoons have. They are worth over half a billion pounds on the stock exchange and own quote a lot of pubs beyond the cherry tree.
  7. Please also bear this in mind... https://fullfact.org/economy/labour-election-leaflets-2620-cost-of-living/
  8. You?re right Brideshead, Pret A Manger did not exist until Boris became PM. Same goes for every other business that isn?t a hair shirt shop owned by one family for the last five thousand years.
  9. You are asking people to commit an immigration fraud.
  10. Heh, yes that's true.
  11. You might have to concede that the LTNs are here to stay and then think about how to send a message to all would be councillors that ignoring your electorate after extensive consultation is unacceptable
  12. It's amazing how quickly the council can react three weeks out from an election.
  13. Well that's two issues already goldilocks. There are many more.
  14. It's not a single issue. There have been a whole slew of decisions made that have had a very negative impact across the community and lead to unprecedented division and resentment amongst residents,
  15. Who we should we vote for tactically round here to get Labour out ? I assume Lib Dems?
  16. Sorry to hear this and to hear what an underwhelming response you've received from our representatives.
  17. Sincerely doubt that any such insurance covers cyclists who are on the pavement.
  18. Keene's cars there used to be excellent. Amazing value, very honest and very prompt to answer the phone in person and send a driver.
  19. Choosing a tarmacadam square for coffee mornings over the rights of disabled people seems appallingly callous.
  20. I've not been there for a while hut thus morning it was looking very nice. Lots of new benches on both platforms and some new flower boxes too. Well done to the train company for sorting this out.
  21. They don't count your vote if you abstain either. Better to vote for a protest party with no hope than waste an uncounted vote.
  22. Some very selfish dog owners round here and there are no street sweepers anymore who might have cleaned up after these idiots. Goose Green park is also full of it
  23. Waseley, Labour haven?t had a National record since 2009. They have had a local record here in East Dulwich though and it is not good. Not good at all. I can see why you would want to try to distract people from that but local Labour councillors will have to answer for it ultimately.
  24. I guess they'll pick up trade from people arriving at the station as commuters (nannies, teachers, shop assistants, local GPs, business owners etc.) as well as people who've got to catch a train and want a coffee but think the queues in the artisan coffee shops near the station are too long.
