  1. Kids Yoga is a fun, creative and playful class designed for children ages 5-9. Parents are welcome to hang out in the cafe, or drop children off and collect them at the end. Each class features a new theme and is designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of yoga through interactive poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices. The sessions include yoga games, story time, and a calming bubble moment to help children unwind. At the end of each session, kids will get creative with crafts that tie into the theme of the day. Tailored to support children's physical and emotional well-being, every session promotes focus, flexibility, relaxation, and self expression in a supportive and fun environment. Please note this class only runs during term time. Book here: https://oruspace.co/east-dulwich/yoga-classes
  2. As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Oru Space is running a 5-day Meditation Challenge, running from Monday 10th May. It?s just 15 minutes each day and free to login with the below details! At 2pm each day, we will gather virtually for a 15 minute guided meditation lead by our Wellbeing Manager Lisa. In this challenge, the point of focus will be the breath. You might be wondering why even bother? Meditation is the art of training the mind to focus on the present moment. In this practice, the breath offers you a moment of peace from the stories, worries and planning of the mind. You may experience this for just 10 seconds of your first meditation, but this gives you a taste that it exists and can grow with a continued meditation practice. We challenge you to stick with us for the 5 days and let's see what happens. All through Zoom for anyone to join... http://tiny.cc/OruSpace Please pass this onto to anyone else who you think may benefit from this and would love to join?🙏
  3. Oru are looking for an individual who is truly passionate in all things wellness, wellbeing, mental and physical health. As part of our lifestyle workspace business, we have an on-site wellness studio that focuses on meditation, breathwork, yoga, pilates and sound healing. But this is not just the extent of what we mean by wellness. We are looking at this area in the broadest possible sense. As a company, we aim to prioritise wellbeing, which is the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy and to do this we need to think differently. What does wellness and wellbeing truly mean and how can we provide this as part of our offering at Oru? Do you have fresh ideas that could help us take our studio and ambitions to the next level? Although studio management experience would be of course beneficial, we are not just looking for this. What you could be doing: - Management of day to day wellness programme, including instructors and scheduling - Management of online class platforms - Delivering a great client experience for every customer, every time - Planning of wellness focused events - Driving our wellness programme with fresh ideas What we would love from our Wellness Manager: - The ability to manage various stakeholders; colleagues, team members, instructors and customers - Creative thinking ?outside of the box? - Studio management experience desirable but not essential And most importantly... - We are looking for somebody who, ultimately, is passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing who can help drive our manifesto onto exciting new things. As a team, we pride ourselves on moving fast and pushing ourselves into regularly testing new ideas. We like to push boundaries, in the pursuit of finding great new ideas. If this sounds like you, then get in touch!
