  1. You can take that any way you please.
  2. Neither would you if you hadn?t had a chop since 1997.

  5. I?d go for a Mazda 6. Very good quality and you?ll get a lower mileage car with a few more bells and whistles on it for your 6K than you will if you go for a Volvo, Honda or VW.
  6. Perhaps it was. Black guy, bike, shouts pervert at people. 2 out of 3 aint bad. From that we can deduce that it must have been you in 2 out of the 3 situations described above. So which was it then? Come on. Out with it.
  7. Yeah, 3-4 years back same guy (I'm asuming) rode past me on a bike on grove vale and shouted, "fucking pervert!" or something similar. I remember wondering at the time how he knew.
  8. I want to be a susurrus.
  9. Then we'd all be truck drivers or deputy head teachers.
  10. I've always thought that it has something to do with pies.
  11. Nick Robinson (as much as it pains me to agree with tories I often find myself agreeing with him) summed it well on the bbc; "The reason nothing much has been done is simple. Most independent reports into party funding recommend increased taxpayer support for politics combined with a cap on individual and trade union donations. It's a recipe vetoed first by the opinion polls ("A granny tax to pay for election posters," anyone?) and secondly by the Conservative and Labour parties' fear that they will be unilaterally disarming themselves in the political funding arms race."
  12. But as long as they're on BUPA it doesn't matter surely?
  13. Anecdotally, in the ten or so years that I've been on this moistened rock in the North Atlantic the choice and quality of drinks available in pubs definitely seems to have improved. The London boozer standard ten years back was a choice of warm London Pride, eggy Stella, metallic Guinness or one of those fosters/carling/grolsh/carlsbergy things that all taste equally insipid and can?t really in all honesty be called beer. Oh and a glass of wine for the ladies of course. These days you have a pretty good chance of getting something decent in most pubs.
  14. Pennies matter don't they. I don't work even half as much as that. Reckon I'm onto a winner.
  15. It is pretty poor isn't it. 60 hours a week for less than 10k. Isn't there a law against that or something?
  16. Anyway. Got a railway to build. Toodles.
  17. That the new pic fits nicely in the frame now and doesn't cut half his beret off? I'm sure they have. Well I have.
  18. I doubt anyone's notice though.
  19. It was this or spending the afternoon on the Guardian with my new Che Guevara profile picture.
  20. lols :D
  21. It's me. I'm sooooo bored.
  22. Would you please stop wasting my tax money and get back to work.
  23. I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of people earn far too much for pissing about on here all day.
  24. Funny though.
  25. Oh good. Anyway I only read the Guardian for the same reason I read the Telegraph. Out of a kind of morbid fascination with the tenuous, illogical crap people can come up with to justify their pre-determined positions. Although I do have to admit that it is less tasteless watching people trying to justify self-righteous idealism and well meaning idiocy than prejudice and exploitation.
