  1. Finally ventured out to fill up.... no queues or limits at morrisons Peckham and Esso on East Dulwich Road was also open with what looked like minimal wait (not all pumps open though)
  2. Just to clarify - I dont cycle on them, either coss at traffic lights or dismount and cross as a pedestrian. Just saying that on the other sides are other decent routes for cycling. Good crossings / infrastructure on boundary roads would help join everything together
  3. I disagree that they dont go anywhere. I cycle with 2 nursery aged kids on my bike. We use the LTN daily for nursery from E.Dulwich to other side of the village but also on the E. Dulwich end once across Lordship lane I can use quieter roads to get up to Peckham Rye, Burgess Park and Elephant and Castle. After crossing Croxted from Turney we use Rosendale to go towards Brockwell Park and beyond, and going South from the village can get to West Dulwich easily on the bike (plus I think Crystal palace would have been doable if I'd forked out for e-assist!) There are definitely improvements to be made in crossing some of the main roads but it feels like decent cycle routes are evolving gradually.
  4. We went to fourways pharmacy in Herne Hill - you need to ring to check what times they are doing it at the moment as they are also doing covid vaccines
  5. We've just driven down to Dorset and trusted Waze directing us to the m4 to then go m25, m3 - absolute nightmare, best part of 2 hours to get to the m25 (at which point we were further from our destination than home) and a crazy route through back streets of Chelsea. I think my instinctive route of south circular to clapham then a3, m25, m3 would have been much quicker. This was lunchtime on a Friday.
  6. Advice- just make sure you are aware of the commitment that buying a rabbit entails. We lost our two bunnies this year and last year aged 11 and 10 respectively! It is generally recommended to neuter them, they require regular vaccinations and vet bills can be expensive if not insured. RWAF is a great resource https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/rabbit-care-advice/ownership/ If you are still keen, look into adoption. I think they are great pets but its important people realise owning one is more like owning a cat than a hamster.
