i just started playing chess and need to learn more so any games welcome and advise.

us dog owners (any breed we have) must respect other users of the park ie runners, young familys, walkers, bikers, other dog owners, horse riders, etc. we must be in control of our dogs at all times. the park is there for all of us to enjoy in the right manner. as a dog trainer and walker i see good and bad in some owners. when i am walking a pack of dogs in the park that i trust and can control i have other dog owners with there dog come to me so there dog can play get involved with my pack. not understanding those dogs are bonded with me and see me as pack leader and the out sider is not on the list. in my view if you recall your dog and it dont come back the first time round keep the dog on the lead and do some recall training with him or her. my dogs and i are not perfect so a go back to the basics myself.

most dogs were bread to fight in one way or another many many years ago , they had a job to do like flushing rats out, sheep herding protecting farms etc, some dogs was bread to safe and help life's. in the right hands any breed can do the right job. working dog is a happy dog. but its us humans that have tried to keep a wild animal in our homes and treat them has humans and not understand what make a dog tick. take us humans out of our natural environment without the right guidance's we would act the same. i see it every day in the park a unbalanced dog or dogs. each dog in my pack have a job and i exercise them well i like to think they are balanced dogs. please dont blame the dog or breed of dog blame the human. we all have been unbalanced in our lifes in some way and got the help or advise to get us back on track, dogs cant ask for help so lets help them to give them and us a happier life in our homes and in the park.

hi emily sorry to here about the attack on woody.try not let these small minded owners put you of going for a walk again. im in the park alot and wood like you to join me on a walk with my pack and i do my best to advise you on how to enjoy your walks again and a few tips to enjoying life in the park again. your welcome to join me while woody is on the mend. i will pm you my details. i agree with you firstmate on your posts.

maybe this should be a new thread but as there bin any posts about having a pet section on this forum? i think it would do well. so when is our 1st dog flash mob meeting?

we should all get together with our dogs i got 3 so thats a good start and have a few drink in the vale just to see the picture on there faces on trying to throw us all out. at least the dogs get a good walk if they wont serve us.

first mate lets not fall of the same page. as a cat as been slaughterd by a dog with a small minded stupid owner. i really dont want to start a new topic about breeds and there genetics. i have 3 diff breeds with diff genetics. they are well behaved dogs maybe im lucky but my dogs are controlled and not a bother in the park with other aniaml life. if they are a bother im there to stop the problem straight away before harm is done then i can address and solve that problem there and then. what ever the breed im the pack leader. i no we all ave our diff veiws but i wish dog owners wood exercise and correct their dogs in the right way. a working dog and a trained dog is a happy dog. its a simple thing that could have safed a cats life.

i hate hearing horrible storys like this. the dog is only has good as its owner and i mean any breed. if it was a child or any human this would be a different case to the law. it gives the breed a bad name and its not in there nature to act like that if they have a good pack leader. i have 3 dogs myself 1 is a sbt he is a great dog with our 2 cats and my little girl. if they find the owner put him down and give the dog a beta chance of a happier life.or send him to me and i show him how a dog should act. i have worked with many dogs and dog owners it all ways the owner at fault. i feel sorry for the owner of the cat its a sad lose.
