  1. Why would a national newspaper care about this? There's plenty of far more important things going on in the world right now. No doubt pocket money budgets are far higher in East Dulwich than 95% of the country anyway, so i wouldnt go pestering the editor of The Guardian just yet.

I often indulge in a bit of harmless vandalism on the way home from the pub with my mates- its a good laugh! With last night being the last night pubs are open for a while, its likely someone had a right skinful and decided to trash them a bit. No big deal. Im nowhere near as bad as i was when i was a student mind- i used to go down the street knocking anything down or smashing any bit of glass i could find. I did eventually get nicked for it, but its good to have life experience of getting nicked at least once.

Stop, search and if necessary arrest and prosecution. I saw some young kids being swiftly handcuffed when accused of theft last Friday on Camden High Street. They werent such big boys then, crying to the Police to let them call their mum (who no doubt says they are good boys that go to church every Sunday).
  4. If you dont like it, or are concerned about your safety, then good god- just dont go to it. And find something else to be outraged about on the internet. There were plenty of fluorescent tabarded councils officials wandering around on Saturday keeping a close eye on things- presumably they were happy as it continued until the normal time, i believe. I was maskless, as it isnt against the law or any rules to not wear a mask at an outside market. Did you growl at people who got too close to you in M&S too? Perhaps you should make friends with online shopping.
  5. If you are that concerned, perhaps you might want to look elsewhere, like the countryside where usual urban noise wont be a problem for you. But wherever you end up, please do not let it be a flat beside a pub, which you go onto complain about even though you knew full well it was there when you decided to move in.
  6. Im not sure i want your enterprise to succeed, ?5 for some takeaway bread and ?10 for some lentils. Pull the other one.

And no doubt, if rightly stopped and searched, these kids and other members of the public will accuse the Police of being racist.
