  1. Hello there, We are excited to be back next week for the start of our Spring term. Registration is now OPEN. Please click here to register your child. Places are limited, so don't delay; book today! Spring Term Dates 13th January to 22nd March 2025 10th February to 22nd February 2025 - half-term break (no classes) Remote Classes For more details, click here for coding and click here for creative writing. The term fee is £60, and free and subsidised places are available. Onsite Classes All sites cover Scratch, HTML/CSS, Python and coding using Lego for Education. We cover Lego Spike Prime and Essentials. Una Marson Library also teaches 3D design and Technology using Tinkercad. We have two MakerBot 3D printers for students to use. New this term, Canada Water Library will also teach Arduino. Onsite classes are free of charge. For more details, click here.   2. Hello! We are Ignite Hubs, a local education charity based in Peckham for children and young people. Our mission is to ignite the potential of young minds by equipping them with the skills, connections and experiences to access career-related learning opportunities. We currently offer remote and in-person classes in libraries across Southwark that cover coding, STEM, and creative writing. We are delighted to have a charity place for the London Marathon, and we’re looking for a runner who shares our passion for improving educational opportunities for children and young people.   5. Hello there, We are an education charity for children and young people. We teach coding and STEM classes online and also in-person at libraries in Southwark. We cover HTML & CSS, Python, Scratch and hardware. Our classes are taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about STEM and we help students connect what they are learning through practical projects.   6. Hello everyone, TEACHING DIGITAL SKILLS FOR BRIGHT FUTURES Established in 2019, Ignite Hubs is an education charity that specialises in teaching coding and STEM to children and young people. We are committed to helping young people gain the skills, connections and practical experience to help them on their journey to employment. Our classes are generally taught by instructors who are working professionals or Master/PHD level students. We cover HTML/CSS, Scratch, Python and Data Science. All abilities are welcome and different levels available for Python. Classes are suitable for children from age 7 and above. Registration is now open for our Summer term The Summer term starts on Monday 24th April 2023. We run online classes from Mondays to Thursdays, 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Free onsite classes are also available at Camberwell Library, London SE5, on Thursdays from 6:15pm to 7:15pm. We will be delivering onsite classes at the Trunk, in Elephant & Castle, SE17 on Wednesdays, 6:15pm to 7:15pm from mid-June. All classes are delivered during term-time only.   9. Hello parents, We offer free coding sessions designed for children with SEND aged 7 to 13 years old on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm, during term-time. We teach Scratch which is ideal for children new to coding. Its block-based structure helps children learn the fundamentals of coding visually before moving to text-based languages like Python and HTML. Our instructions are friendly experienced professionals and university level students. Hello, Our Spring term starts next week: HTML/CSS/JavaScript starts on Tuesday, 19th January Scratch starts on Wednesday, 20th January and then on selected dates afterwards Python starts on Thursday, 21st January.   12. Hello, We are Approved Providers for the skills section of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE). Our DofE programme supports student through the Harvard University's CS50: Intro to Computer Science programme, or if they prefer, they can attend our free weekly remote coding sessions or use another coding resource instead. The CS50 programme is an industry respected and recognised programme and we are confident that it will only many doors on completion. The cost of the DofE programme is only ?35 and a bursary fund is available for students not able to afford this fee. We have info session on Thursday, 26th November 2020 at 5pm to 5:45pm.
