Ho's who not only don't qualify for a contract phone but also can't afford credit on their chavvy pay as you go jobbies. Klassy as feck.

It is theft, yes. Several thousand restaurant proprietors have done hard time for this crime.

I do have a red leather "tub" chair, yes! I love it. Will be sitting in it in just a sec. And I may buy a red leather sofa if I can find one. I don't have any chrome but I do have stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. I believe I have wicker baskets. The desk I finally settled on is an oak number. Brand-new. Sturdy. Six hundred quid. I do quite like that little Warren Evans number though and may purchase it to serve as a dressing table.

If I want to speak to someone I will obviously call them rather than texting them.

Do you ever send someone a text precisely because you don't have time, inclination etc to actually talk to them on the phone at that precise moment and then.....instead of texting you back, they PHONE you almost the very second they receive your text. I find this unbelievably annoying, I must say. Thanks for listening.

I had this desk previously, but Bob stole it from me. http://www.gallery136.com/furniture/provence/GLP51%20desk.jpg

Jez, I happen to like modern furniture. I hate pre-owned furniture. I like modern modern modern. I don't consider ?300 a huge amount to spend on a desk at all.

"proper old furniture" as in pre-owned?

As a heterosexual woman, I tend not to shag other women. She went down for four years for high-level fraud and on another occasion did a year for perverting the course of justice.

@PeckhamRose, I am really really scared. She has a fairly serious criminal history too, I've just discovered.

Anyone had to deal with someone who suffers from this? I'm being....not sure how to describe it....stalked/pursued/targetted/befriended by an individual who has this affliction. She comes across like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction...

Can black people vote BNP?

So the Thai Corner food is good then?

I'm wondering whether to ditch Indian and go for Thai. Any good local Thais?

Maromora, when you say Babura is not to everyone's taste...what do you mean?

Cheers J, where is Omrith? I've been to TD and the service is great but the food is seriously blah. Pistachio Club food was better, if I remember correctly. What's that Bicicyle Club place like?

I've been a bit underwhelmed by local curries but want to take a friend out for a local curry tonight. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a curry house where the food is as authentic and tasty as possible?

Why is that when somebody is arrested 'on suspicion of....' so many people leap to the conclusion that the person is guilty???? I've seen the way the police operate and being arrested and charged actually means very little. Even being convicted in a magistrate's court isn't in truth that convincing. Get convicted of an offence in a Crown Court and, yes, there is then a very high chance that you really are guilty...

Does anyone here own a Netbook? I have a normal sized laptop (approx 14 inch screen) but I'd like something very portable that I can carry in my bag and use for writing in cafes and so on. Would a Netbook fit the bill? I don't need it for much else than to run Word and write - don't need fancy graphics etc.
