Rendal I have put up links try reading them, I am claiming the actual drugs on offer are killing people and the system set up to deal with the companies who are making them, andthe people who are suffering loss, is corrupt and cruel. Where does the most prestigous scientific institutes sit amongst this system. I realise this thread is about homeopathy, personally this cannot be looked at without it overlapping into medicine and healing as a whole.

Rendall, seriously, you have utsed one very extreme case of a couple who must have had serious problems to allow there child to reach this state, this is bringing into question not just homepathy but other treatments, though that is immaterial as this reflects more a problem with the parents. It surprises me when alternative meds are being blamed for a death it is dealt with in a criminal court, although it was individusls charged not homeopathy or any other altternative therapy they used. There was no question of the meds causing harm, the charge was broughtagainst the parents. Unlike pharmaceutical drugs which after proof, withdrawal and death, is not dealt with in a criminal court, the families cannot get answers, Its all settled with money, I can go on but I won't Rendal as no doubt you'll agree, can you give me a link where people have died through homeopathic meds. People are dying , conditions worsening through the medications being prescribed, whilst others lives are being savedand as I said earlier its not either or.

Rendall, did you read the links? And can you post ip proof of the harm that has been done by homeopathy. I have no wish to change your mind and respect youur choices in healing. This may be a difficult concept for you, but people actually are aware of greed, lies, and all charges brought through our legal system against companies, within our healing, then decide for themselves. This is not an either or situation, you are persistently using arguments which plague the healing industry. Yes there is an awareness there is room for greed on both sides. What is happening now is not going to stop homeopathy it is only going to make it available if you pay.

Sue, It definitely is shifting with the medical profession, physically and psychologicly. Things change in time, many young people are coming into the healing profession who are wanting change, it is very exciting. I have had acupuncture, chinese herbs, vibrational healing through NHS, I have also been involved in research looking at different healing. The problem with looking at results is the measuring and the bringing together of a whole picture, which can be difficult in a scientific setting. I've found when there is funding for research it is often looking only at What is being measured and often other important things are shared and experienced but they don"t fit in to the scientific analysis.

Rpc I've found herbs that I know to work for long term health problems sometimes are not enough for me. I may then look at where I am, recent things that i've struggled with,as more often my symptoms are connected with what is going on emotionally, regardless of a diagnosis that only sees a minute glimpse of illness. From a system that refuses to recognise that you know your own body. I beliee and know things are possible outside of the peer reviewed, outside of tight bounderies that keep healing out.

We have very diffrent views on healing, I cannot remember anyone ever saying on this forum there is not a place for conventional medicine. Choices are being taken away even though science has learned so much about homeopathy, the way it treats people holistically, although this was an old way it didn't begin with homeopathy although the biopsychosocial method has looked a lot at homeopathy. EASAC who put in the report on homepathy wee accused of cherry picking trials they used for this report. I do not have time to go into this, and not sure if I have the energy but its worthwhile having a look if your interested.

Yes it is as a preservative, when i use alcohol to make tinctures, although I recognise the preservative properties, I use it more for the potency. It puts a different angle on potency when looking at dilution medicine.

I've just checked the spray. It is a solution in grape alcohol, whether this is done this way as a preservative, I don't know, interesting.

Could well be Rpc many things come into healing and often things are ignored or ridiculed if it does not fit into the system of measuring and seeing how science evaluates.

RPC Sorry I may have picked you up wrong, homeopathyz dilution process is part of the controversy. Dilution makes it more potent, I guess many people don't know the process of there meds on the level science looks at it, but they will know if it helps.

Fishfingers I know a little of what homeopathy is although I know a little more about herbs so that is my preference. I have used homeopathic remedys which have been given to me. I actually believe it is important and also effects healing, How something is given to you. As i have already said there is more to healing than the meds whether conventional or alt.
