As Vladi said in his post "The Fifth". Will Trump even complete his term in office before someone does away with him. At this rate the rest of the World hate him, the leaders of the nations have distain for him, maybe his aim is to divide up the world between the USA, Russia and China, with Europe no longer being an Allie of the US. However the only reason Trump is behaving in the way he is, is to stop spending money on non US related issues and hence driving all the money back to the US. As he says he "wants to make America great again". Personally he scare the ebiegibies out of me. What's the odds we'll be at war by the end of 2025, or the three super powers will be at war. Which ever way you cut it, the world has become a much more scary and dangerous place.

Oh my oh my, you really do seem dissatisfied with the "service" you've received. Good luck with the Ombudsman, personally I found them to be an utter and total shambles staffed by unqualified clowns who neither listened or were willing to do any background reading, when I had to involve them regarding a local dental surgery. My experience with the Tessa Jowell Surgery as a new patient is poles apart from the one you describe. They have been pleasant, kind, informative, helpful and genuinely caring. I have followed their online protocols and everything has been fine. Perhaps posting your complaint on a public forum wasn't the best way to try and get it addressed and maybe if I may suggest an alternative approach could be for you to arrange a meeting with the Practice Manager and raise your concerns with them and have any evidence available, or just find another practice that meets your needs.

So sad to hear of his death, a talented jazz musician. Roy Edward Ayers Jr. was an American vibraphonist, record producer and composer. Ayers began his career as a post-bop jazz artist, releasing several studio albums with Atlantic Records, before his tenure at Polydor Records beginning in the 1970s, during which he helped pioneer jazz-funk. Wikipedia Born: 10 September 1940, Los Angeles, California, United States Died: 4 March 2025 (age 84 years)

This was posted last Saturday by Jb. "No the collections were separate, although both funds transferred to his brother, Asif. You could pop in and speak to his brother if you wanted more details but I believe they plan to fund a well in Africa. Thanks if you donated, the brothers were very grateful and touched."

Derelict Grove Tavern - who to contact?

Hopefully if that is the case the skate park can be relocated as it was put together by young people for young people with lots of hard work and effort to achieve what they have done so far. -

Agreed, the skate park should remain, especially with all the work those involved have put in to get it up, running and maintaining that enthusiasm.

Depends on who can afford to purchase or lease it and what The Dulwich Estate, Stonegate and Southwark Council will allow to be built or operate on the site. Whatever it is, it needs to attract footfall for itself and businesses around it. The question to ask is what does that part of Dulwich need, that is not within the locality, which will attract custom and footfall, that the site can accommodate and that can offer parking which it already has available. In between Cox's Walk, Dulwich Village, Dulwich College and the park, some sort of establishment that sells drinks and meals. Bit then I'm just chucking ideas around, or maybe someone, Dean, has some radical idea's to take it in a totally different direction. Whatever it becomes it has to be better than the rotting site and eyesore it currently is. Good luck to anyone who takes on the project to redevelop the former Grove Tavern.

ab, - fair enough, we all have our own thoughts, I'm interested to see what Dean has in mind.
