Well it looks like it is going to happen soon that the Silvester Rd Sorting office will be closing in todays South London Press. They cannot say that it is not well used as there is always a que to pick up mail and parcels. How will the elderly and disabled manage not everyone can get to peckham that easy and if you are picking up large parcel how will that be possible. you think the ques at Silvester rd are long well so are the ques at peckham so how are they going to manage. How will our postpeople manage if they have to bring our post all the way from peckham.

My Son in laws Ambulance Car had knife in Tyre. This is an emergency Car. the person who did this left blood at the site from the knife coming out at pressure. Hope he didn't need an Ambulance in a hurry.

reliable source said they are measuring up Peckham sorting office to see if they can fit the Silvester rd one in their. if they can then they will close the Silvester Rd one.

Have you heard that the Silvester Rd sorting office is going to close. We will all be expected to go to Peckham to collect our parcels. How are people expected to get the items home? try carring awkward parcels on the bus maybe. If the Royal Mail thinks anything of there customers why are they trying to get rid of the sorting office we have all known for over 50 years. We do not want to go to Peckham for our Post. So far we have lost our Police stations both of them. Now it looks like we are to lose the sorting office. Its about time we took a stand about this before it is done and dusted.

Planning permission is being sort to refurbish and repair work internal and external in connection with conversion to residentail units. We at Southwark Heritage Association have been fighting to get this building restored for some time and it looks like that is what will happen. Id like to see mr choudry's face when he sees the place in all its glory and not demolished like he wanted. Ellis
