  1. Looks like they might be out quite soon all going well Rescue set to begin mid October Rescue Capsule
  2. Dammit, a quid, it just cost me ?5.99 on Steam. Never got around to playing it so thought it was about time...and what the heck ever happened to Half Life Episode 3? Shorter release times by making 'episodes' rather than full games my arse.
  3. Yeah Jennings road also, same guys, although the fella we had actually left quietly as soon as I said I wasn't interested. Was quite surprised as previous times they just keep trying to convince me to buy something for ages.
  4. Yes the sim card generally only stores phone numbers, photos, etc will be stored on the phones internal memory.

I'm a kiwi, living in ED....no not a lot of thought went into that one.
  6. We have just got a Babystyle Oyster after doing quite a bit of research, and although our wee one is still a few months off and haven't been able to test it out much we really like it. Initally we were tempted by a Bugaboo Bee but though they were a bit too low down for our liking after having a play with one in a shop. Our impressions so far are all good, seems quite sturdy and well made and is very easy to swap the direction of the seat or click in the carry cot or car seat. We brought ours from Baby Nest who quite a good deal on them (and a ?40 store voucher if you pay in full which we used to pay for the car seat adapters and a blue colour pack). They have one on the shop floor to have a play with anyway. Feel free to PM me if you would like to have a look at ours.
  7. Sounds like they're doing alright considering. A day in the life of trapped Chilean Miners
  8. I use the route you mention first quite a bit during the day and it's fine, just follow the one way system off the bridge onto Mansell St, onto Whitechappel then Commercial Street. It's fairly straight forward, the bulk of the traffic tends to go the same way to avoid the zone.
  9. Sshhh, he's on to us...

Forest Hill road is open, but a new set of road works has now appeared a bit along from Forest Hill station so there is still large delays along there. Yesterday the traffic was backed up all the way to the Harvester.

The first step was all of the buses themselves (e.g. GPS tracking, onboard anouncements and signs), the Countdown system is next which is new signs at bus stops plus online and txt alerts. I'm not sure how much of the Countdown upgrade is going ahead at the moment as Tfl is cutting back their budgets somewhat tho.

Makes you wonder if it is really worth spending millions on the new routemasters.
  13. Well that's Auckland, strange goings on up there I tells ya, we southern folk keep well away from there. That and having 4 million people spread across a country the size of england does tend to leave it looking a tad sparse at times.
  14. Haven't tried it personally but mu step-sister in law and her friend (both females in their lower 20's) did a bit around europe earlier this year and said it was a great experience. They were a bit worried about it at first but stuck to people with good reviews and ended up meeting some really nice people and some were happy to give them little tours about their local area.

    They lie!!

I was in a similar situation when my insurance was up for renewal, I had a very minor crash where the other party was at fault, no claim made by myself as it was only a tiny dent but my premium went up even though I gained another year on my no claim bonus, figure that one out. Ended up changing companys but even so I did notice on the comparison sites I would get a cheaper price for no accidents/no claims than 1 non-fault accident/no claims.
  16. Is 2011 still up for grabs? I'll take it if so, thanks Mr W**F sir.
  17. For those poor souls who haven't seen it:
  18. Well it could be worse... 9 Day traffic jam

That's the work of the chopped carrot pixies, they seek out puddles of vomit and spinkle them with chopped carrots from their little magic chopped carrot bags.

By the looks of it if they stop nicking the EDF content they won't have much 'news' on their site at all, lol.

  22. I vote for a Woofmarkthedog show.

I'd say unless you know the streets in the film you'd never know, I think it's only because I lived in Marmora Rd for a while and used to walk down those 2 streets to go to the shops that something in the back of my mind went 'hang on a mo' when I watched the film. > > (I must have been the only person excited watching > the recent Sherlock series jumping up and down > going "Ooh ! 25. Leafy trees don't help either, the moisture in them tends to block the signal a bit too (same reason why sky tv/sattelite signals don't like fog or rain), so any area with hills and trees is going to cause problems depending on where the masts are located.
