  1. The Baby has been missing since Friday afternoon when she got out of her carrier and ran off near Franklin's on Lordship Lane. Please keep an eye for her and call if you see her. She's a small tabby with a white tip on her tail and probably limping on her front right paw. She is chipped but doesn't wear a collar.
  2. Hi all I think my son might have lost his keys in or on the way to Dulwich Park a week or 2 ago. There's an F and a skate Park fob on them. Please let me know if you've found them. Thanks in advance.
  3. Found this on bus today. Please PM if you are or know Daniel and I will return. Unless it's better to leave with driver? Any advice?
  4. I found a silver moped abandoned in ED. Reported to police but still there this evening so let me know if it might be yours. Appeared between Thurs evening and Fri midday.
  5. Sorry wrong section. I have moved it.
  6. We have found the contents, bank cards and a photo of children but no money. PM me or p[lease pass on to Jackie if you know her.
  7. We have found the contents - cards, no purse or money I'm afraid. I will contact police and your banks later today if I don't hear from you.
  8. Hi there I know her mum. will pass on the message.
  9. Great to hear this school has been approved. Is there any update on the admissions policy or any way in which we can communicate our thoughts about it to the school board? I am particularly keen that the catchment should cover a wide area of ED to include the current black spot around and behind Peckham Rye park. I would be disappointed if it overlaps significantly with current Charter catchment as that seems to miss the point of a new school.
  10. I would recommend doing lots of practice with him. You can also improve his fine motor skills by getting him tracing, drawing and colouring activities, anything that lets him practice holding a pencil will help develop the fine motor skills needed to improve his writing. There are handwriting books available to practice making the correct shapes of letters properly too, and for joined up writing which we have found useful.
  11. I'm wondering if anyone knows any more about this now? Just found out our daughter will be going in Septwmber and we're all delighted so hope this isn't something less than positive to be concerned about. Has a replacement been appointed?
  12. Went for lunch today full of expectations but roast was well below par (bisto gravy and Yorkshire puds didn't seem freshly made on site). Wasn't looking for 'gastro pub' style but it really wasn't good enought to pay for in my opinion. And those of my fellow diners. Also very poor info as we were told on the phone that bands started at 4 so arrived 1.30 for lunch only to find a band onstage. Asked how long they were playing staff said for the afternoon, only For the band to announce their last song! That was good for us seated by the speaker but makes it all seem very disorganised. Food arrived at all different times over an hour including hungry children's meals which were very late and kids burger far too peppery. So food very disappointing but atmosphere was nice. No kids running around and ours certainly didn't. Staff nice and the manager particularly was helpful and seemed keen for feedback. If the food quality improves I'll make it a regular but that's a big if. Can't understand what chef would use gravy granules and frozen yorkshires?!
  13. Happy Days are number 4 in the Guardian list of kitsch holiday destinations. http://m.guardian.co.uk/travel/gallery/2012/may/23/queen-diamond-jubilee-50s-celebations-pictures?cat=travel&type=gallery
  14. Hi this place is run by friends of mine who moved to Dorset from ED a couple of years ago. The vans are really beautiful and Jenni and Kevin are brilliant hosts. Glamping at its best! Highly recommend it. http://www.happydaysrv.co.uk/
  15. I thought it worth posting on here that I saw someone apparently casing houses to burgle the other night. One lone young man was going in and out of front paths, apparently checking under flower pots/bins for keys or something on the off chance. I have left keys out for my partner in the past but certainly won't again. this was around midnight, around CPR area but could happen anywhere. He seemed to be only going into houses with no lights on. Worth passing on I thought. I did call the police and they were very helpful and responded quickly, but I have no idea whether he was picked up or not.
