  1. Thanks for posting. Agree he looked ok really but caught my attention as he was walking slowly such a long way along the streets. And quite far from where you see him. He didn?t appreciate my attention. Probably thought I was a mad cat stalker hanging about on the streets with nothing better to do.
  2. Just seen this cat walking with a limp from north cross rd to oakhurst grove and thought it looked lost.
  3. So pleased to hear that Sammy's home. Fantastic news! What traumas these cats put us through!
  4. Thank you so much everyone! I still can't quite believe it, and neither can pippy's brother winston who thinks he's somehow familiar but highly suspicious, so there's been a fair bit of hissing from winston which doesn't faze pippy at all after what he's been through.
  5. I've no idea! Apparently he'd been hanging around there for 3 weeks. Here he is having his first snooze in a safe spot.
  6. Pippy is home!!! I'm so delighted! He was taken into a vet in Catford who rang me this morning. He is fine but very hungry. Thank you to all the people who called me with possible sightings and hoped that I'd find him. And thank you to the people who took him to the vet in Catford but who didn't leave their number.
  7. More photos of Pippy. Just to add a few more details which might be useful - he was used to going outside in the block of gardens between Shawbury and Hansler Roads but had never been out in the street so would have been very scared. (I've leafletted the block and spoken to most people in these roads with no result.) He's used to being handled and picked up but would be wary of strangers. He lived with his identical brother cat so may have attached himself to another cat, or found himself another home. Thanks.
  8. Thank you for all the replies to my first thread when Pippy went missing in early June. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?31,1829645 I've also had posters up in Lordship Lane for weeks, and although I've had lots of calls and texts they've not been Pippy. Sadly he's still missing and I would still dearly love to find him. He's small, black, sleek short fur with light green eyes. He's microchipped so if anyone takes him to a vet or RSPCA they will scan him free of charge. He's not been picked up by the council who said they scan any cats they find. He could be anywhere by now, or still quite nearby but he must be out there somewhere. Thank you, Gill 07747 524736
  9. Thank you. I'll go down there and have a look. Pippy is all black except for about 4 white hairs on his threat which are really not noticeable except very close up. But than you anyway. It's worth a look.
  10. I took this cat to The Neighbourhood vet about a month ago, and it was microchipped and returned to its home around Landcroft Rd/Pellatt Rd. It has also been picked up by RSPCA from the street before and subsequently reappeared in that area. Hopefully eventually it's owner will get the message or the RSPCA will stop returning it.
  11. Thank you. That's good to hear. Thanks for the encouragement. Much needed and appreciated. And thank you everyone who's contacted me about possible sightings. I haven't given up and will keep following up every possibility. Pippy is somewhere and is microchipped so although he could be a long way off by now, and have endured much, he won't have forgotten us and we haven't forgotten him, and one day we'll find him.
  12. Hi Missmoo, thank you but unfortunately he's too young. Looks like a kitten as his eyes are quite blue. Pippy is microchipped so if he was taken to a vet's they'd find my details on the chip. Thanks anyway. It was very kind of you.
  13. The cat found in Nutbrook St isn't Pippy who is still missing I'm sad to say. Pippy is small, male, black short haired cat with green eyes.
