Here's the link but I think the ballot entry has now closed. You can still get a charity place though - I'm running for Marie Curie cancer care- complete with daffodil headdress!

Anyone noticed how the lights at the crossing on Peckham Rye (up from Barry Road)turn red for a few seconds without anyone pressing the button . . . . . . is it a traffic calming measure or is there a road-crossing poltergeist?

Shame. We had glorious sunshine for the Edinburgh marathon this weekend (when I say we - me spectating, Mr JB a respectable sub 4 hours) Is anyone doing the Run to the Beat half marathon in October? I'm about to dig out my running shoes again.

?3.40 doesn't seem very much. That's about the same as I got paid in my Saturday job when I was 17 - 13 years ago.

I have just turned up for a dental appointment a week early! This was after creating chaos at work so could get away for an hour. Should I tell work the truth or just pretend I need some more work doing?!.

The theme tune from 'Go Diego Go!' a cartoon for 3 year olds - all thanks to my lovely niece and sky plus. Edited as am sure my sister would like me to add that she does not leave her child in front of the TV all day . She does of course give her lots of outdoor activity, music, soft play, and Japanese lessons.

Don't recommend the thai chicken sandwich I had from WHSMITH - far too creamy. Salt and vinegar Hulahoops were ok though. Bit bored too!

I had a take away from Tandoori nights tonight - do you think I should stay at home tomorrow just in case? Wouldn't want a dicky tummy on the no 12 bus!

Heart rending plea... (by estate agents)
jollybaby replied to snorky's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Another desperate estate agent I paid a visit on Saturday to the estate agent who's been trying to sell my flat for the last few months. I told her after 2 offers falling through I've had enough and want to let my flat out to get me some dosh to fund my ED lifestyle. There was panic in her voice and she told me to wait until after their forthcoming sales promotion 'make me an offer' This basically involved them phoning potential buyers and telling them that vendor x is willing to take an offer on their property!! Isn't that bleeding obvious in this climate? Can't be a fun job at the moment. Now where's that lettings contract . . . -

Mr JB keeps threatening to shave his legs for summer - should I be worried?!

I propose a 1 month ban on posting about Green and Blue

Keef Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm fed up with people talking about Green & Blue, > so I'm going to start a thread about Green & Blue > to tell everyone how fed up I am with talking > about Green & Blue... :-S Probably not my brightest idea! I just had a moment of madness when I saw someone had started another thread going over recently discussed topics (since removed). Maybe should have tried the more subtle - I think you'll find that this has been discussed in depth here - link to thread- approach, or nothing at all. Damn broken my ban . . . . . . . -

Sorry just seems like an awful lot more than that. Of course everyone is free to post on whatever they want - I don't have to read the threads I don't fancy after all. Have a good weekend everyone. Ps. another thread on G&B had been started today that seems to have disappeared- I'm not totally mad and plucking this out of the air! -
It may be just me but I'm fed up of logging into the forum and seeing posts and posts about Green and Blue. Do we not have anything else to discuss on here? Can we not just let them pick themselves up from the drain/repossession saga and get on with it? I'm sure I'm going to be shot down here - 'free speech' 'open forum' 'you don't have to read them' etc etc but I can just imagine the team at Green and Blue looking at this site and thinking 'oh god it's those bloody moaning forum people again'. let's give them a break if only for a few weeks.

Vik Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Camber Sands - Clean, vast - all the sand you > could want! Exactly where I was going to suggest where I spent many a happy weekend in my childhood. Still relatively unspoilt but has become a bit of a trendy kitesurfing spot. About 1 hr 45mins from here in the car -not really accessible by public transport I tend to go A20 - M20 off at junction 10 and then cut across the Romney marsh.

You have to wonder whether Sara's done anything behind the scenes to piss everyone off- though the way they turned on her when she got back was mighty unpleasant. Jenny- horrid smug so and so needs to go and so does that little Sophlocles twerp. But then who's going to win - from those left it looks like it could be Clare or Raef which is quite funny considering events in the earlier episodes. PS . is it really sad to be at work making comments on reality TV shows? I don't think Mr Jollybaby would be too impressed!!

Chairs and tables were being unloaded into the restaurant this morning - looks like it's nearly ready. Anyone know when the official opening day is? -

Much better now. sleep and more wine did the trick. Now just need to sort out the flat - anyone want a 2 bedded place in Cardiff with a minor damp problem?
-
And as if my day couldn't get any worse have just heard that the sale of my flat has fallen through. Going back to bed to wallow in self pity.

Help am feeling awful. Already had half a bottle of full fat coke and pasta and pesto with no relief. I think it's going to be a long, long day. Any suggestions?
