  1. In a similar vein I will also stay away tomorrow as my mother in law (who visited recently) has suspected whooping cough and as a precautionary measure GP has put our whole household on antibiotics as whooping cough can be nasty for babies that haven't had their jabs yet. Shame, was looking forward to it....oh well have fun and I'll come next week!!
  2. Hi Laura, i'm doing the jelly belly pilates at dulwich therapy rooms, tuesday at 2.15...cool if we're on the same one! Look forward to catching people tomorrow at the gardens. I've got baby clinic beforehand so hoping it's not too long and hideous!!
  3. I've got to go to baby clinic on Tuesday so won't make the inaugural exercise session but I'll join you in the gardens for coffee afterwards. Good to meet you Elizabeth and fingers crossed for the safe arrival of bump! Let us know how you get on x
  4. Hee hee....baby tea party - classic! Jenny - thanks for Pilates info...I've signed up to the Tuesday afternoon course :-)
  5. Reckon it's a good idea once this delightful weather goes! My vote would be to do it on peckham rye before tuesday meet up but having said that there's no rule to say we couldn't do Tuesday and Friday for the super keenos.
  6. Cool, see you all tomorrow....Olivia, I can't wait to hear about your unplanned home birth!!
  7. Hello everyone, hope you're all doing well and enjoying new mum-hood. Just checking if people are planning to go to the gardens tomorrow around 10.30? I'm up for it so hopefully see people there :-) Jane x
  8. Hi All, annoyingly I won't make the gardens today as I have a feeder on my hands and midwife visit between 12-1pm. Dexter has hit the two mark and seems to have developed an appetite (eventually). Nikki - hope stress levels have fallen now Sam's on the bottle, I must say I'm a bit jealous of you!! Bottle is so quick and much easier with hyper toddler flinging themselves around in too close proximity to nipples clamped in baby's mouth. Oh the joys of the early weeks - is it wrong to wish time would fast forward a few months?!? Anyway, hope all is well with everyone and look forward to catching up next week as I'll make that one so see you there. Jane x
  9. Hi Lorna - congratulations.... Think Isabel makes the third SB arrival on 1st May (Great bday)! Sounds like another interesting birth story! Look forward to seeing you and Isabel at gardens when you're up to it. Jane x
  10. Congrats Lucy and welcome to Maggie...the very rare 'girl' spring baby!!
  11. Sorry Emily....forgot to say congrats to you too, Glad your bay girl arrived safe and well! Jane x
  12. Hi Nikki - fingers crossed things improve soon, I guess it might take him a little longer to adapt as he was a bit older than Dexter when snipped... for what its worth my toddler is a nightmare whilst I'm feeding...did my first bedtime with two of them on Thursday...let's just say it was interesting!;-) Good luck!!
  13. Congratulations Olivia and welcome Charlie! Sounds like you have a interesting birth story to tell! Glad you're all OK. Take it easy and see you in a bit x
  14. Hi Nikki, I saw improvement in Dexter's latch almost immediately after the snip but he's still being sleepy and frustrating to feed due to jaundice which is taking its time to go. Who did your snip? If it wasn't Katie Fisher then I would recommend speaking to her - she can do consultation over the phone (I think) as well as in person....she'd almost certainly be able to tell you what's occurring. Saw her for my snip follow up today and she's really good, calm and reassuring! I have her number if you want it. Good luck xx
  15. Hiya, really good to see everyone today...agree we should pay separately as we order to avoid any mishaps in future. We have the room next week same day and time so see you there! Take care all Jane x
  16. Yep I believe so.... I'm hoping to make it. Look forward to catching up with everyone tomorrow! Jane x
  17. Congratulations on the arrival of Max! We welcomed another spring baby boy yesterday afternoon...Dexter arrived at home after a very quick labour (45 mins!) - only just managed to jump into the pool in time!! It's those second babies, pop out v.quick! Anyway, needless to say, I won't make the meet ups this week but will be ready for it next week I'm sure! Take care, See you all soon Jane x
  18. Hi and welcome! Details of meet ups are shared on this thread so just keep a eye out...we're trying to di a rdgular tuesday meet... there's a couple next week, Monday in herne hill and Tuesday in the gardens cafe around 11am. If I believe my midwife I should have a new baby by then so may it make it next week!
  19. Good to see everyone (and meet the new babies)today. Just to let everyone know we're planning a meet up next Tuesday at the Gardens cafe if anyone is up for it...guessing around 11am like today. Depending on arrival / non arrival status of baby I'll endeavour to drop in on Monday at cafe prov and/or Tuesday at the gardens. Good luck with the screamers!! Jane x
  20. Cool see you there. Jo - stick with it.... It does get better I promise!! Good to get out if you can, even if he's giving you a hard time.... Change of scene is good for you and him! 11am at Luca's xx
  21. Cool - will be good to meet the new bubbas!,
  22. No problem, how about 11am at Luca's on Lordship lane?? (handy for me as a waddler!) Does that time and location suit - Jo, Olivia?
  23. Plough doesn't open until 12pm (and I need to be at apps at 1pm) so I could get there for just after 2pm I guess .... Jo seeing as you are now with bubba does that time work for you??
  24. I'm around and toddler free tomorrow - have accupuncture at 1pm though so free either side of that. Jane x
  25. Woo hoo congratulations Nikki - that's great news, well done you...I'm liking the quick birth!! See you soon, Jane x
