Nikki - Bummer re pox...oh well at least you'll get it over and done with! Hopefully a week of solitary confinement won't drive you too mad. Shout if you need anything xx p.s I still have your bag from the bottles - I'm breaking Dexter little by little...and I owe you lunch so once you're out of solitary I shall repay you!

That looks lovely! Thanks for the link, reckon I'll have to plan a weekend there myself. SB DRINKS.....Anyone fancy meeting for a glass of vino one evening over the next few weeks? Was thinking either Wed 4th or 11th. The Great Exhibition on Crystal Palace Road would be a good spot to meet as got nice outside and inside areas. Let me know if you're up for it and if so what dates you can make xx

Sorry I didn't make it to crumpetland on Friday...decided to go the other way and went to the gym instead. Anyway, hoping to see folk tomorrow at the gardens for a cuppa....was thinking it might be nice to take a wander in Peckham rye park after coffee if the weather is nice. Am trying to be restrained and not hit the wine on a Monday night... No work tomorrow though ;-)

Hi All - hope you had a good weekend! Toddler mums still up for meeting up this Friday morning with full brood? I know Rebecca, Nikki and Aine were keen. It looks like rain though so where shall we go? Where's good for them to expend some energy and run around like lunatics? Is there a soft play anywhere that doesn't smell of wee? Suggestions please.... Jane x

Hi all.... look forward to catching up with you Lucy week after next... Here's hoping you get your cuppa before then!! Lorna, guess all babies are different in terms of feeding but typically you might be feeding every 2.5/3 hrs (timed from the beginning of the feed) for 20-40 mins. . You get babies often take longer but speed up as the get older and more efficient feeders. Then there are the dreaded growth spurt days... 1-2 days of much more frequent feeding, but these only happen every so often Hope that helps! Good bank holiday all...here's hoping for not too much soggy bunting!

Good to see everyone today...I'm actually a tad sunburnt, doh! Emma - shame you couldn't make it, hope Amelie gets better soon. Good to meet you Lorna & Zoe. Next Tuesday is bank holiday so general consensus was that we'll skip the meet next week but a few of us with toddlers decided to meet up next week Friday (8th) avec babies and numbers 1's...everyone welcome although appreciate those just with babies may not be interested in getting embroiled in toddler friendly activity. Anyway, will make a plan mid next week depending on weather. Hope you all have good long bank holiday weekend!! Jane

Don't worry Caroline you're not being neurotic, newborns aren't good at regulating their temperature - I've found the best bet when its really hot is to strip them off (Dexter has been in the nod all day) and make sure they're well hydrated...for breast fed babies that may mean more frequent feeds, marvellous ;-)

Cool - look forward to seeing those that can make it..I'll head there for 10.30. Lorna / Zoe - look forward to meeting you! If anyone is lost then text/call me on 07790 012066. Caroline - sounds like you're having a bit of a time of it at the moment - here's hoping life get less hectic for you soon. Hopefully catch a few folk tomorrow (before the end if 'summer' ;-) xx

Hi All - hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather....Dexter is snoozing his way through it (during today at least...nights not quite the same story). Anyone around for tomorrow's meet up? How about we meet in Peckham Rye Park instead of the cafe? Bring our own drinks etc and a rug to lounge on. We could meet from 10.30 in the picnic area as there's shade and sun to suit sun lovers and the fairer skinned amongst us. Park map below...the location is labelled 'picnic area and arboretum'. http://www.southwark.gov.uk/download/5900/peckham_rye_park_trail Let me know if there's any takers... I'm happy to go elsewhere if people aren't up for this plan! Jane xx
