    About a fortnight or so ago, my DAB radio abruptly stopped tuning XFM saying the station was not on air. Anyone else had this problem? I'm in the Goodrich school area. Wogan has provided a nice alternative in the meantime...

    Any idea what was going on? Both lanes closed to traffic, many police, fire rescue truck and ambulances. There were about 20 police and firemen holding up a big screen around the road, so I'm guessing there was body or bodies in there. Not nice to see on way to work.

    I don't think the butcher is expensive at all..certainly no more than equivalent produce in Sainsburys... ?25 must have bought a lot of chops! The staff at the butchers are not at all snooty but agree the ED Deli is a bit that way.. I'm just glad we have the choice.. butcher, fishmonger, posh Deli's, Sainsbury, Iceland.. Can't really see what the point of the original post was to be honest...

    Considering how close we are to the Crystal Palace transmitter, the Freeview reception is cr@p. We switched to Virgin and wouldn't go back.
