  1. Brill news, Elisabeth! Welcome Bertie. I'm aiming to come to the gardens tomorrow so see you all there. Sophie x
  2. Hi all, I'm not sure I can make it today because of 6 week check ups. But moving to the park sounds a great idea and hopefully we can arrange more meetings al fresco. Perhaps we should organise a picnic one lunchtime. I'd be happy to co-ordinate as long as someone can find a reliable weather forecast!! Sophie x
  3. Yep I'll be there - looking forward to it! Sophie x
  4. Hi everyone, Just a quick question - has anyone bought a Breastfeeding cover up eg a mama scarf or apron etc? If so, can anyone recommend one? I would like something to preserve my modesty while out feeding but would like something easy to use while wrestling to latch on fussy baby! Any recommendations or top tips? Thanks Sophie x
  5. Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and congrats on these new arrivals. I'm really enjoying hearing the birth stories. I'm going to try my best to be at the gardens tomorrow as sounds like a great meet up. Ps Lucy I was told you need to eat the heart of the pineapple!! Yes thats the really tough, unappetising bit! Sorry! Sophie x
  6. We are delighted to announce the birth of Lily! Baby arrived yesterday - 10.4.12 after a shocking 2 hour labour and where I didn't have time to be taken to hospital so she had an impromptu delivery on the bathroom floor - with NO pain relief at all. Not even a whiff of gas and air was possible! Weighing in at 8lbs 8oz I am needless to say very sore, but also delighted! Take care everyone! Sophie xx
  7. Congrats, Melissa! Great news on your little one! Sophie x

  14. Jane, That is no problem at all. I'm sorry to hear you were poorly and hope you feel better soon. Not much fun putting up with pregnancy and a bad cold! See you soon - perhaps on 29th Feb? Sophie
  15. Hello ladies, We're up to 20 for breakfast tomorrow, which is fantastic. See you all at Franklins at 10am. Sophie x
  16. Hi Hannah, I just thought I would add a line here to say we're having a breakfast meeting this Saturday morning. It's 10am at Franklins and there will be 18 of us going along. So if you're free, please do come along! The more the merrier. Sophie x
  17. Jenny, That is no problem at all - we've got the table sorted, so you can really come and go as needed. So close to your little one arriving now - very exciting. See everyone on Saturday. x
  18. Hello ladies, Hope you're all feeling well! OK breakfast is booked at Franklins at 10am for this Saturday 18th - the booking taken by none other than Mr Rod Franklin himself! He is a very nice and jolly man and did make me chuckle as he announced in surprise that we were all 'rather pregnant last time we booked for breakfast'! He asked whether I was sure we wouldn't be having any babies arriving before the weekend! Anyway, I've booked for 18 people as this is what I can count up from the forum. If anyone else can make it, just give me a little shout and I'll amend the booking. Looking forward to seeing you all. Speak soon, Sophie ps I would like to come to the meeting on 29th Feb, just seeing if the other half is free...
  19. I don't want to jump in here in case someone has volunteered earlier in the thread, but I'm really happy to book Franklins for breakfast on Feb 18. Does that sound ok? I'll have a count up of numbers and if anyone else can make it and wants to be included, just shout on the forum. Ps just had my 32 week scan and all fine. Getting really excited now! Sophie x
  20. Hilarious that there were two events going on in the same pub but looks like everyone had a good time - thanks for organising, Jess! I'm definitely up for the 18th for brekkie. There are quite a few vouchers around for pizza express at the moment so we could always do a bargain pizza lunch/ dinner in Dulwich Village over the next few weeks if people are around. If anyone is interested I'm happy to organise. Otherwise see you on the 18th! Sophie x
  21. It was great to see everyone last Sunday - thank you for organising, Emma. I'm definitely free on the 1st and would love to join! Sophie
  22. Rosie, that's a brilliant idea! Thank you. Bumps and babes sounds like fun! And Emma, thank you for organising cafe rouge. Im really looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting new faces too. Sophie
  23. Please count me in for Magnolia on 22nd Jan! I've had lunch there before and it was lovely. I hear the breakfast is very good. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Sophie x
  24. Hello all, Thanks for news on the tours, Emma. That's very helpful. I can do 21/22 Jan and 1st feb too for our next meet up. And yes, I start NCT on 20th Feb with you, Jess. I think Emmy who came to previous breakfast is on the same course. Spring Babies Group is taking over! Hope everyone is feeling well. Sophie x
  25. Ah thank you both. It's a tough one as I think the Cameleon is probably more sturdy, but I'm quite a weakling so the bee appeals as it's lightweight. I've done a few test drives and now just have to choose.
