  4. Hello, Free parent workshop! Next course dates: 12th, 13th and 16th November Rose Education is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that supports families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in navigating the Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) process. 8. Good Morning, I am interested in speaking. To parents/carers that need support with applying for an EHCP or general support challenging schools that are failing children with SEND. I have recently acquired a small amount of funding to run a course and to advocate for parents in this situation. If you live in Southwark and feel this is of interest to you or someone, you know. Please send a DM for further details.
  9. Good afternoon all, I am wanting to speak with families of children with SEND for research purposes. A little more detail is below. My name is Charlene, and my background is in education. I have worked with children and young people for over 15 years. I am a qualified teacher and work as a SEND consultant. I am in the process of applying for funding for a newly registered CIC to act as an advocate for parents that are struggling to gain support applying for an EHCP (education, health and care plan) and also take part in a 6-week course to equip families with the knowledge and understanding about the EHCP and what this involves. As part of the process, I want to carry out research to establish issues and concerns families might have with schools and local authorities in getting support, advice or guidance with this process. I am keen to speak to families in this situation and feel that having such a service would benefit them. I know that time can be an issue, but I would really appreciate your views. Thank you for reading my post Kind regards, Charlene
