  2. well went in there on more than 1 occassion and the the verdict is that they are rubbish
  3. Ive avoided using them as the offer seems too good to be true.If they put your property on the back burner and say in the new year your property hasnt sold theyll charge you 3% They cant be doing all this 0% for nothing.Thats my opinion
  4. I wouldnt say they were helpful or friendly quite the opposite-are you related to them at all? 5. susyp this is london a lot of places are pretentious and unfriendly ,?11 for a butty is a bit expensive can get breakfast for 3 people at the plough cafe for that
  6. I would never hire a removal company, there usually a bunch of yobs with a ?500 van expecting easy money ie carrying two boxes. When you give them anything heavier than a yellow pages theyll start moaning.Better off hiring a van and driving it yourself.
  7. I dont have any of these flyers can anyone on here elaborate on the small print?
  8. whats do you guys think of the foxtons deal if I sell through them and get an offer by christmas then its no comission. If it goes on till after christmas and no offers 2.5%? Theres prob small print as well if I gave another agent and they sold it ill be paying double comission What if they delberately dont market it and ask me for 2.5% Thid idea makes me a bit unconfortable. 2.5% is astronomical.Dont know whether to just for a hight street agent for just 1.2%
  9. Is this centre by goose green?Looked abit tatty on the outside didnt try to brave going in side
  10. I agree that this is so wrong Ive seen so many times people rifling through boxes at nightime throwing items all over the pavement and running off.Thats why I take my items directly into the shop now. I used to live in pimlico and once saw this guy rifle through the shirts( there was an outside display) took his shirt size and ran off.No one did a thing. These people should just be put in prison. This is still no different than going into a shop and nicking stuff.Sounds like shes a complete lunatic
  11. personally If I was selling I couldnt care less who sells my house as long as it gets sold and i get the right price= everyones happy
  12. Goodliz Selling a house by yourself is not as easy as it sounds regardless of whether your selling through an agent or yourself having people traipsing round your house is inevitable anyway. On the other hand an agent can filter out all the timewasters etc. Also wouldnt you find people ringing you up at all hours of the day annoying? If you have the time and patience you can save a lot.If you have time then it can work out.
  13. dont know what they would get rid of the cop shop from an area like brixton? Makes you think what the govt do with all that money? And the millions generated from speed cameras etc
  14. Of course a alarm is worth it .What would you prefer replacing broken locks time and time and again not to mention the aggro and stress. Also scratches to paintwork to doors from scredrivers etc.
  15. spadetownboy of course a alarm is worth it .Its sure better than replacing broken locks time and time and again not to mention the aggro and stress. Also scratches to paintwork to doors from scredrivers etc

  18. I think compared to other cities around the UK, London remains one of the most standoffish and miserable. Yes your sure right Im originally from up north people dont even open doors for you when your right behind them but at the end of the day you wont see these people again so it doesnt bother me as much now. They dont even say thanks either when you open doors for them

  21. Well I'm an Interior Designer and I design Hotel Interiors for a living so can put the drawing package together myself and use the contractors Ive used in the past.Building my own house would be something I would do oneday probably have to sell my place first .Maybe in a few years. The joinery work on those two houses I have to say do look great.
