We just wanted to recommend John Marx for any kitchen upgrade, kitchen fitting etc etc, as he has done such a wonderful job. We saved a lot of money designing our own kitchen with DIY kitchens, and John was the best man to fit everything for us. It took him about a week or so! Very skilled, and very kind. We have had some problems recently with other parts of our design, and John has come back twice now to help us at no charge. Also, our dog loves him. Gabi, his wife was very helpful in setting things up for us too. 10/10. Cheers, Jack and Olivia.

I used East Dulwich Forum to contact Tony last night. I can't recommend highly enough. Our kitchen sink was badly blocked. We had tried fixing it ourselves with off the shelf products, but didn't drain. I called DynoRod and they said they'd be out in 5 - 6 weeks to fix it!!! Tony had finished work, was sitting at home waiting for his dinner and still offered to come around the same evening! He cleared the drains and pipes multiple times, and even showed me how to do it in the future. Thankfully he got home for dinner. This was 5 star service. Great name too - ONLY FLUES AND HOSES!! Brilliant.

We just want to say a big thank you to Julian, who's just completed our bedroom wardrobes, and living room cupboards with shelving. We are absolutely over the moon with everything. He is highly skilled, and would 100% recommend him. A seriously great job. Also, whilst he was here, he helped me build a garden fence, that was totally unplanned. I wasn't really sure what I was doing, and he basically did 99% of the work (which I took the credit for later on). We will be contacting Julian Richards again, any need for a carpenter, this is a great find. Thank you. Jack and Olivia

I moved to East Dulwich in July last year with my wife and we live on Ulverscroft Road - absolutely love this area. We?re lucky to have all these independents on North Cross Road. I wanted to know why there are a few empty ones, without any letting information such as STELLA, and the blue exterior shop next to the hairdresser which just looks abandoned. I may be interested in taking one of these shops myself for a retail business. So sad to lose Brickhouse, I?d love to have more akin to that in our area. I work in coffee and food at the moment so would be a nice segway. If anyone has any info about those empty premises please let me know! Thanks
