  1. Bottom half but not top half of Brockwell Park Gardens one way...
  2. Hi Pickle - my little on is coming up for 14 months and I do a morning and night feed - since going back to work three days I've had to do various overnights and recently snook off skiing with a friend for 4 days ( 5 nights) I was worried about supply and found I needed to express each night before bed just for comfort more than anything else. When we got back we picked up where we left off - was impressed by the flexibility of my bosom!
  3. It's all about south London at the BAFTAS the brilliant Olivia Coleman up for a couple too..

  5. Ah lovely.. Congrats! How time has flown since we met bleary eyed in our post-natal 'jamas at Kings - relish the romance!

  9. I would recommend Pekes Manor - Just outside Eastbourne - lovely quirky houses ( oast house ) and lovely indoor pool with vines!
  10. I was a Keycamp kids rep in a previous life and travelled all over Brittany and the Vendee working on various sites. The one I always said I'd go back to I I ever had kids ( and I have and am planning to!) is a lovely campsite called Camping Bel in La Tranche Sur Mer, Vendee. Lovely location on a huge sandy beach, lovely path walk into pretty town, great site with pool. Vendee has microclimate. Rained once in the 12 weeks I was out there. Bon vacances!
  11. Brockwell park pretty good from cafe - good 'piste' all way down to the bottom - we've been today!
  12. Come come now grumpies - singing on a bus is a childhood right of passage.. Altogether. Ow ..Charlie had a pigeon, a pigeon, a pigeon..

  14. It opens on Wed 2nd.
  15. Not ice-cream Iceland..
  16. Camberwell - Cowling and Wilcox has all the card you could dream of!
  17. Having been a lone 'bright kid' ( only one in year to go to Uni) in a rough comp in the North I would say manipulating the intake by fair banding seems like a good thing. Having an academic mix in the school and providing each child with academic 'peers' is surely better for individual children. Or am I missing the point?
  18. Hi I work there and can recommend the baby changing facilities in 'le pain quotidian' on Stoney st ( just on edge of market) or starbucks or amano on clink st ( good sofas for a feed too) . Enjoy!
  19. Hi midivydale - me too - lets meet at crooked well crumpet club ( as toddler calls it)
  20. Quick plug for a doc I worked on - blurb from today's Guardian ' astonishing documentary examining how where you live in the world will determine where you stand in the lottery of childbirth' - is it better to be born poor or die poor? The first film in amazing Why Poverty season .. Right up family room's strasse.. Although I appreciate most of us wmay be in bed.. I had afternoon nap with baby so I could stay up!
  21. Had exactly the same thing at same age, went from not beIng able to get him out tO not being able to get him in overnight!he was suddenly terrified and had a major tantrum if we even started to enter the bathroom at night! I found I had to ease him back into the idea by getting in with him and reassuring him - took a week or so and then back to normal. Quite common apparantly - just a developmental stage! Good luck!
  22. Not sure if u can get next day delivery tho.. Hope forum comes good!
  23. Amazon have got ones for tenner - will go halves if you want as need for next weekend!
  24. I second that. Also in there today for photo - first visit - fantastic spiced plum yoghurty thing - toddler loved toy corner - toy cafe! The staff have so much patience! Lovely place!
  25. It depends on your child really. Personally I think a nursery environment is too much for a child under two - mine is a hectic little thing and any time I took him to environments where there were a lot of kids he would get completely over stimulated and meltdown! I found a lovely childminder who only has one other child and I felt a home environment was important when he was little - he felt secure with our childminder and she's now part of his 'family'. At two and a half I felt he was ready for more kids and nursery and he loves it. Good luck finding something that suits you and your little one.
