It’ll be nice to have a few days relief from the aggressive and dangerous driving of the P13 staff causing absolute carnage on the back roads of E.Dulwich.

If it was being flown line of sight then they?d know exactly which wall it hit and where it is. The airspace in question is part of London City CTR and demands additional caution. Not to mention flying a drone next to a major road (presumably at a height of less than 50 metres as it was low enough to hit a wall - also illegal) and you?ve got an extremely reckless bit of flying. You?re right - a bit spiteful saying I hope the toy isn?t retrieved. But nonetheless - illegal and dangerous flying. If it?s retrieved I hope it?s a lesson learned.

Why? It?s sad that a kid has lost their toy, but it was clearly being used illegally.

So he was flying it out of Visual Line Of Sight ( VLOS ) which is both illegal and incredibly dangerous?

Thanks for bringing it to their attention. I would suggest there is rarely a need to block the road for deliveries. Sometimes it?s unavoidable and that?s fair enough. Perhaps it would be sensible for them to put a barrier out to save a space on days they are expecting significant deliveries? This would be far preferable to reserving a space 24 hours a day 7 days a week. As you say, parking is limited. Neighbours should be considerate of this and each other and work together rather than taking action to selfishly save their own space. I am glad you were able to get the disabled bay installed. I doubt everyone on the street was aware this was why your bins were out.

Myself and it would appear others have repeatedly moved them off the road and they seem to keep putting them back again. Will try our local councillor. Thanks!

They?re using orange barriers that their builders must have sourced. Previously they used wheelie bins.

There?s a house being renovated on the lower end of Landells Road. For a while now the residents have deemed it okay to block off a parking space outside the house with barriers. There is rarely a trades van parked there but it seems the owners feel entitled to reserved parking on a street that is not marked bays or residents, and is already heavily congested and short of parking spaces. Correct me if I?m wrong, but if one wants to reserve a space for building works, deliveries, skips etc... then you can apply to the council for a parking suspension. Instead these homeowners seem to feel the rules don?t apply to them and that they own the space outside their house. Their builders regularly turn up speeding at over 30mph on a 20 road, and practically abandon their van blocking the road - they?re not even using the ?reserved? space. Anyone any idea who can be contacted at the council to make a complaint about these selfish home owners?

Appeal is useless. You need to file a ?Request for Out Of Time Statutory Declaration? followed by an actual ?Statutory Declaration?- it?s a sworn document stating you never received the original mail and giving the reason why. Assuming it?s filled in correctly it should be accepted and the original fine re-issued. It will also freeze all enforcement action whilst it?s being processed. I had a very similar situation a couple years back with TfL. Went through process. They rescinded enforcement and reissued the fine. Catch was they reissued it to the same old wrong address (can?t make it up.) a year later the Bayliffs call me up again... on my wedding day. Suffice to say, straight on the phone to TfL. They rescinded again and have never bothered me since.
