Martial Arts class which a 5 year old girl would enjoy
DrDom replied to HonorOaker's topic in The Family Room Discussion
there is an excellent mixed martial arts class(mma) in orpington. www.mmakent.com it's run by travellers, so your littleun will learn some tasty bully boshing skills. The ballet skills will come in handy too. Bruce lee was a keen ballroom dancer. -
fushcia, thanks so much for uour reply!

I found susanne on the forum, i didn't really know what to get my mother for her birthday, i also wanted some photo's of my 7 month old. I hired susanne to take some family photographs for my mums 60th birthday and i was amazingly pleased with the results. She really does make the whole thing relaxed enjoyable and more than this, she takes some absolutely amazing photographs. I really can't recommend her highly enough. My mum was chuffed to bits with the results, they are professional, creative, contemporary colourful and different. Thankyou so much susanne. anyway i think she does children albums now, and i know that the average parent takes on average 95 pictures on a normal day! me included, but they really are different...anyway if your interested she can be found here Susanne Hakuba m: 07969 523 268 e: [email protected] w: www.susannehakuba.com

Babies with haemangiomas/strawberry marks
DrDom replied to Belle's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi there, My 7 months old has one above her right eye, which caused quite alot of distress to my partner as for 4 months we had to keep pushing the local GP to get an appointment with the specialist at GOSH, which we eventually have had. Basically they can't give you any time-frame on when it will go down or fade away, it lightens at first and then stops growing and receeds. As it is right above her eye, there's nothing we can do in terms of covering it up and every child we meet just homes in on it (some adults reactions have been absolutely shocking too) and although we have come to terms with this we are dreading the day she gets old enough to cotton on, although have absolute faith she'll be a trooper. I'd love to meet other parents or talk about this as it has to help. It would also be a help to her for when she gets a little older to know theres other children with this. -
The park Gym is absolutely brilliant. I've cancelled my gym membership! They have table tennis tables in Berlin too, and hacney way. If this was Southwark council I applaud you! Thanks!
