    Hi everyone, I have added my daughter to the waitlist for several nurseries in East Dulwich for Sept 2023 however none of them can guarantee me a place so I’m looking at other potential options. Does anyone have any childminder recommendations, preferable in SE22? Looking for recommendations from people who have used the childminder themselves if possible. Thank you!

    Hi! We used a night nanny, Margaret, 3 times a week for 8 weeks when we brought our daughter home back in September. She really helped us to set a good routine with our daughter and establish good sleeping habits. Let me know if you’d like any further info or Margaret’s number (we found Margaret through an agency).

    If you join the “East Dulwich mums” Facebook group there are various discussions on there! There is a small one called Apple Tree Cafe which is meant to be quite good.

    We love our Bugaboo Bee too which is great for this area. Light and compact but also very sturdy on bumps etc. Would recommend.

    Does anyone know what pubs in the area will be open on Xmas day for either Christmas lunch or for drinks?

    No worries! Yes Gilbert came home after 3 weeks! No idea where he was but he was very skinny and had some injuries. Glad they all came back :)

    It’s possible he was stuck somewhere inside as his coat is pristine so he doesn’t look like he’s been outdoors for 3 weeks! He’s extremely skinny so he definitely hasn’t eaten. However we got a tip of a cat looking just like him near Sainsburys local yesterday looking very lost, so my husband spent two hours calling for him in that area late last night then Gilbert showed up this morning at 5am! So he could have followed my husbands scent home or it was a coincidence. We now need to locate and take down all posters :D

    Just seen she was found - great news! Where was she? We are missing our black cat Gilbert in east dulwich and still hoping he appears somewhere !

    Gilbert is still missing - please keep an eye out for a large black cat who is very shy but is probably very hungry by now (it’s been over 2 weeks). Thanks so much!

    We are missing our black cat, Gilbert, who didn’t come in for breakfast this morning. He’s a a relatively large black cat. This is very unusual for him, so we are worried. If anyone has seen him or knows anyone who lives on Silvester Road (our garden adjoins with the gardens on Silvester Road) who can ask them to look out for him that would be great. Thanks.

    Good day, We are looking for a night nanny (who has experience in night nannying) to come a few nights a week later this year when our baby is due. Does anyone have any recommendations? References will be required. Thank you! Emily

    Hi everyone, we need to start thinking of nurseries for our baby (we are due later this year and will have one year mat leave but trying to get it sorted asap due to long waiting lists). Gum boots is our top choice but does anyone else have any recommendations based on their own experiences or ones to avoid ? Thank you!

    Found Owner. Hi, there is a young-ish looking white cat with markings that has been hanging around our house a lot recently and always tries to get inside our house.
