No one knows what's going to happen, it's bad enough I can't find what I want to buy now I'm being faced with shops not accepting cash. What should I be doing in this situation tap dancing? , singing for joy?
  4. Even if the shop keeper doesn't touch you or your money he will still potentially catch corona as he will be close enough to you. Just because everyone has a debit card doesn't mean everyone wants to use them. It's not even safe to use your credit/debit cards in certain shops.
  5. Nhs staff should have a separate time.
  6. did they say how long grove vale will be closed for?
  7. can't believe everyone is so happy to jump on the cashless society. where the government can track your every movement and know what your spending your money on. I use cash everywhere as it is safer. It's too easy to lose track of how much money you have when using cards. and I noticed young people don't value money anymore because they always use cards.
  8. It's like a warzone going shopping now, there is such an eerie atmosphere.
  9. The shop worker has to handle the product you are buying, so how will they work around that.
  10. So how are the people who pay in cash gonna pay? It's getting ridiculous,
  11. go grove vale its the cleanest library around.
  12. my mother went to Camberwell Iceland for 9am, they only had five packs of toilet papeer on the shelves, the shop had hardly anything in it and it had just opened, the staff were good they were only letting people have one of each item. I went to Morrison s Camberwell to get mince, a man had cleared the shelf he took ten packets.
  13. but why are they now clearing out the fresh fruit and vegetables isle? they already took the frozen and tinned vegetables. that's why they took the toilet paper, they are gonna spend all day eating.
  14. they should close the shop for the day at 9am as its a waste of time keeping an empty shop open. they must be charging around the shop without a care for anyone, it will be the same tomorrow, how will they know who is vulnerable, anyone can say they have a heart problem to get in for tomorrow's vulnerable people's time. there is no manager in sight, just shop floor workers and they can't do anything cause the manager isn't bothered.
  15. I don't think Sainsbury is fully stocking shelves, yesterday I went and got two shepherds pie ready meals at 11.30am no more was left. 3pm to went back to Sainsbury, and there were two more sharpards pies on the shelf. why did they only put two on the shelf?
  16. Someone is gonna get hurt soon if the carpark is full of people waiting to charge around to grab stuff as soon as they open. Do you think it's the same people hoarding the stock?
  17. You mean the elerdery will have to push past people to try and get in to th shop. Worker in the shop said they were queing all the way down to the nursery. 7-11am should be for the elerdery.
  18. Apologies everyone, I've calmed down now, I know it sounds silly to be upset over milk, but it was a shocking sight to see.
  19. I like how the staff have backbone when you pick up a carrier bag, announcing to the world 'have you paid for that'.
  20. who would want to buy food on ebay,
  21. gonna be another nhs problem after this, all the greedy people wiill be obese. no way would they have survived food rationing in ww2.
  22. it seems like there doing it for spite now. when will they stop buying and start eating the food they have.
  23. don't bother coming to this shop today, unless you want to eat light bulbs. 11.40 no vegetables , potatoes, no essential items there is no bread at all only a few bloomers which are rock hard. lots of smug 20 year olds having a good laugh at the empty shelves, most likely cause they ransacked the place. they have cleared out all the butter, cleaning products. I'm trying to get a few bits for my mum so she doesn't have to keep going out, I'm now gonna have to galavant round Camberwell looking for basic items like bread milk and sugar. the staff have no backbone, spineless like Boris Johnson huddled around in groups looking at empty shelves. and surprise surprise, all the cases of beer is gone. so are they all gonna be bleaching their toilets nowand scrubbing the floor with all the cleaning products they have. I don't think so. they'll do what they normally do and watch Netflix all day..
  24. The communinity is not coming together, everyone out for themselves in all the supermarkets, teenagers couldn't care less about whats going on so long as they have their Netflix.
  25. Southwark council should be contacting vulnerable people and the elderly. I think Its is awful that most people have been left alone and there is no help or advice from the local council.
