I need to get an image printed on a man's long sleeve T-shirt to arrive by the end of this week. Any recommendations for t-shirt printing companies with a fast turnaround? I only need one printed.

Fines for parking in loading bay for 2 minutes - appeal?
Naiada replied to Naiada's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
thanks for the comments so far. IanR - in answer, No he bought the items at the shop, at the time- not by click and collect which we realise may be an issue in a dispute but the whole transaction from leaving the car, buying items and bringing back to car and leaving took less than 5 minutes. My instinct is not to appeal and end up getting charged more, but he is keen to pursue as it's ridiculous to give a total time limit of 2 minutes! -
My partner parked in a loading bay in Orpheus Street SE5 to get some heavy items from Cowling & Wilcox Art Supplies for his business. The whole transaction took less than 5 minutes. He came back, loaded and left - with a fine for parking in a loading bay “without loading within 2 minutes”!! He made an online appeal but it was turned down- letter attached. I think the main points he contested are; You can’t walk to C&W, pick up a box and walk back in 2 minutes, so how can ‘evidence of loading be seen’ in that time? They were not ‘general domestic shopping.’ They were bulky and heavy. The vehicle was moved immediately on returning to it with the goods. So, he met ALL the criteria they have stipulated as reasons for issuing the PCN. If anyone has successfully or unsuccessfully appealed against a similar loading bay fine do let me know, thanks!

My partner is a first time author and is interested in going to the London book fair. Have any other unpublished authors been and if so, would you say it's worth a visit? Hard to know from looking online as obviously it seems to be more geared towards other aspects of the industry for publishers, etc...

Here’s a recommendation for ‘Hidden House’ artists studios & gallery. I’ve been to all their exhibitions & the 2 gallery founders, artists Maria & John, are really lovely friendly people. If I didn’t already have my own studio space I’d jump at the chance to rwnt a space with a gallery / exhibition opportunity!

just booked very last minute flights to the Algarve for this week & now need to find the right area for a self catering place to stay. We like places in less touristy areas & relatively unspoilt towns/villages/ beaches - if anyone has any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

My son just sent this warning - Be wary of ticket inspectors on the London bridge to Tulse Hill train. A couple of guys just got on my train claiming to be ticket inspectors but something seemed off with them. Their hi vis vests didn’t look right and their IDs just looked a bit sketchy. they said they were taking a “ticket survey” and when I said that I have a ticket they didn’t push me on it. I think it’s a scam to get you to touch your card on their reader but they were fairly convincing at a first glance. Now they’ve sat down and stopped ‘inspecting tickets’ Update - when I got off the train I asked the ticket collectors at the exit about it & they said the IDs are fake so be warned!
