I still think that resurfacing the roads and pavements should be a higher priority.

Yes why can't we do something good for motorists. We are always taking a bashing and get very little for our council tax, road tax, etc .

The bus lane going up Dog Kennel Hill past Sainsbury is dangerous. It forces me on my scooter into the single lane that has no overtaking. I was going up last week and was being honked by a car behind that wanted me to move over. I had nowhere to go! If only I could use the bus lane I could be safe. (I have a 50 cc scooter which only gets up to 25 mph max up that hill)

just got back from Lidl in Peckham and there was a young man stuck under the rear wheels of a large tipper truck that had been turning left into Bellenden rd from Peckham rd Bike was crushed he seemed ok but trapped. Sorry to upset anyone but just compounds the need to be careful if you find yourself alongside one of these lorries.

If the "road to Crystal Palace" is the one at Croxted rd then I thought this was 30 mph BUT this may be Lambeth. My only source of info is my own experience. Not wanting to get shot down on my general statement. Only to say that I see nobody driving at 20mph

The reality is, that the vast majority of traffic observe the 30 mph speed limit. The speed cameras are still set at 30 mph The police still drive at 30 mph Why persecute the bus drivers for doing what 99% of drivers are doing?

Well, I live in Trossachs Rd and I have taken several baths and just got the paddling pool out for the kids to have a splash about in !!
