  7. kibris Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > whatever dont forget to clean your window so you > can see if the light comes on No need to be a tit Kibris. It was a serious observation on what could be a fatal issue!
  8. Did you not hear about the helicopter that crashed into the crane on the tower in Battersea? We often have Police helicopters going round this area at a low level. Perhaps it doesn't matter to you!!
  9. No light on crane again over the last couple of nights. You would think that they would have a more reliable system!!

  11. So we have waited, how many months, with unbelievable delays for WHAT???? Couldn't they have just painted some cycle lanes on. Which looks like they have only done a little more than!! Was it really worth the pain???
  12. All you are doing with a CPZ is pushing the problem elsewhere, and charging residents that previously didn't have to pay for their parking. Please fight CPZs jimlad48 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How many times does it have to be said that > Southwark gets no profit from CPZ. 14. 11.20am today, traffic was backed up to the traffic lights at east Dulwich grove and Dulwich village. because of coaches parked outside Alleyn's and a cement mixer couldn't get passed so nothing could turn into Towny rd. Come on Alleyn's wake up and smell the roses
  15. No light on crane again last night. You would think with the battersea helicopter accident they would have a more reliable system!!
  16. I was going down Melbourne Grove this morning on my bike and thought I saw a squirrel crossing the road ahead. But as I got closer i realised it was a rat crossing in front of Callows. Bit of a shock, it is my first rat sighting since moving to East Dulwich 23 years ago!!
  17. Hi James Light was only off for a couple of days. but watching helicopters circle round this area in the early hours, I think that it is best to have the light on what ever the regulations.
  18. I have just noticed that the light on the top of the tall crane on the old Dulwich Hospital site is not on. It is normally on at night I assume to warn helecopters etc.
  19. yes, but that's for everyone everywhere.
  20. We have compiled and analysed all the responses and have summarised the results as well as recommendations and next steps in a summary report. The update and report can be found on the consultation website: southwark.gov.uk/camberwellgrovebridge
  21. I went to Alleyn's School and left in 1974. But i have no contacts or pictures from my time there. Does anybody have any info, photos, contacts etc?
  22. "Why do we all need to campaign to keep the roads where we live open to people who want to take short-cuts down them? We know that roads that don't take through traffic are much much nicer than roads that do. It's quieter, the air is cleaner, we can open our windows and hear the birds sing. No one disputes this and you are not disputing it. Why is it so wrong to want it? Why, in this particular case, are "other road users" wishes more important than our own?" It's because we all share the same roads. and it's selfish to think that yours is just for you. we would all like "nicer roads"!!!
  23. well we would all love our roads to be cordoned off, who cares about other road users!!
  24. thanks James any chance of one near the shops opposite east Dulwich hospital. People are now using the new square blocks that stop cars from cutting corners.
  25. where about is the motorcycle repair "outside Turners" please?
