  1. All sounds great ? we'd definitely use it and appreciate it.
  2. Millie, I agree with all your comments and ideas about how to organise meeting up and getting to know each other. Big meet-ups indoors just aren't practical for those with energetic disobedient toddlers like mine. Afternoons out at the park/playground/1 o'clock club with one or two other mums would be ideal for me and my 18 month boy. Fuschia, I haven't been in the habit of using facebook for a while now, but I like your idea of starting a group. Could work.... for a start it would be a good place to swap mobile numbers, if we make sure settings are secure. Anyone?
  3. Hello Jills, have PM'd you
  4. Hi Jills (and everyone else), welcome to East Dulwich! I'm a mainly SAHM (recently started working Mons & Tues) with a 16 month old boy, and I'd love to meet some more mums in the area for regular get-togethers. We don't have any regular classes from Wednesday pm onwards, so morning or afternoon playdates would be great. I confess I've been following a few of these types of threads on the forum for a while, but hadn't got round to joining in till now. I find playgroups etc are good, but we seem have our best times in the comfort of people's houses, where the kids can be easily entertained and watched while a few of us mums chat and get to know each other. I moved to the area while I was pregnant, and am still gradually getting a network together... it's happening VERY slowly, I have to say, mainly due to laziness on my part! But little Max is very sociable, so I think I need to get out there a bit more :) I guess I should read back through this post to see if there are any meet-ups planned in the near future... if so, would you mind if I came along?? Anna
