Surely the hard done by motorists who have suffered unnecessary journey disruptions at the hands of lollipop personell rushing into the middle of the road as soon as a child hoves into view should have their say at this demonstration. as a taxpayer, and motorist, I have no problem at all with a reduction in lollipop men/ladies.

I'm on Underhill road and we have this problem too, as does my neighbour.

lets also mention; 1 Labour councillors deciding to massively increase southwark's reserves at the last budget hearing 2 ?6 million being spent on Burgess Park Hard to know which is more disgraceful!

Did anyone seew the overturned car by the Peckham Rye hotel yesterdaqy. all taped off by the police who were on duty by it - looked like a bit more than the average rta

Bad luck - these people really do need a good hard kicking.

I'd be willing to join some action group to patrol the area and see if we can catch these individuals at it.

I agree with both the above. The police won't do anything. Judges and local councillors will just bury their heads in their Guardians. Its left to the rest to make sure these people are made aware of their residual worth and that they don;t forget it in a hurry..

Presumably the reserve/contincency is up so that Labour can inflict misery with cuts now, blaming the goverment, then fund some splurge when elections next come along in a few years time. Typical Labour dishonesty.

I have to say I am strongly in favour of vigilante action. Decent law abiding citizens have got to stand up and give these so called people a bloody good kicking. The hug a hodie tea and biscuits approach plainly does not work. Its the only language these "people" understand.

When that horrid little car is parked on Lordship Lane neare the EDT it is usually illegally parked in a bus lane! These people realy are tossers!

apparently now 176 and 185 stopping at camberwell - no service to dulwich...

sorry -yes right at the EDT, thel left at the corner of the common. However, it was non stop from EDT to camberwell so u'd have to go to EDT, or pick it up at campberwell

past the peckham rye hotel, under the railway bridge, left at the mini roundabout past morrisons then straight down the main road to camberwell

No number 40 bus from the Library and no 176 (as at 6-30 am). There was a lorry stuck on Lordship lane Southbound where it starts to climb up towards the library causing chaos. I got the 185, which was diverted through peckham, and off at oval and onto the northern line. Total time to Bank 1.5 hours. Hate this - must get my motorbike fittes with stabilisers...

Which restaurant would people suggest is the best in ED for giving one's girlfriend the old heave-ho? Obviously one doesn't want to make it too expensive, or be so cathedral-quiet that people might notice a scene.
