the blokes a prick, the only sports page i never read is the back of the guardian on saturday, why cos he,s got a column. -
even gavin and stacey post series one was crap, the sketch show is even worse and the various chat/game/charity show appearances, cringeworthy. good article in y,days guardian about the pair and their fall from grace.

Woman found dead in Barry Rd 27.03
JetSetWilly replied to boosboss's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
stuff happens, depends what the stuff is, however the facts speak for themselves and in almost all cases of murder the victim and perpetrator are known to each other, you would need to be very unlucky to be a random victim, it does happen but it is rare. so while the recent events on barry road are disturbing, ed remains a very safe area to be. -
probably best to leave it, the punters might think they,re talking taps, that tell them off for not washing their hands.

in my old secondary school anyone who turned up late, had to spend the morning break in a kind of mini detention. i was sitting down the back with my mate moggie and looked round and moggie had his duffle coat hanging over the front of his desk and was quite happily bashing away at the bishop, apparantly it was a regular occurance.

would the troubles have ended 5 yrs earlier than they did, as the hunger strikes could have been avoided, the ira wouldn,t have had a new recruiting sergeant........but as mp says, would, wouldn,t, who knows.

same applies to all supermarkets, go at off-peak times ie 10-12, 2-4 and any time after 7. i do like the old self service tills as there nothing worse than queuing for ages just to buy 2-3 items, plus the old fogies avoid them like the plague, leaving us young bucks to fly through, the only prob being they appear to operate on a weight system, so if like myself you ended up buying several birthday cards during the week, the assistant had to be called over as the machine didn,t recognise i,d placed them in the bagging area. sorry l.c.

i agree, the type of pathetic whinging heard on this forum, is due to people who don,t have the balls to actually stand up and say something for themselves in the first place, but would rather hide behind a keyboard and no doubt dress up their moan using a bit of poetic license. as my old mother would say to me "have you no tongue in your head" i tend to find the best policy is not to walk into a shop and not expect the staff to be fawning all over me and falling at my feet just because i have graced their presence, but rather acknowledge them, get on with my business and then if i feel there are any issues let them know about it, asking for the manager usually stirs things up a bit. then i add them to my blacklist and vow to shop elsewhere. job done.

94 i hitched from the smoke to munich for the beerfest, camped and spent all the dosh i would have spent on travel, food etc, on booze. took 4 days to get there and 1 to get back, courtesy of a little lass from brisbane whose coach party i fell in with, as the tour leader said theres always more go out than come back.

me, on the run from the law, had to lie low till the heat died down, unfortunately during that time i knocked up a local girl and did the honourable thing. in the mean time my co-accused did the honourable thing and coughed, did his time and all is now hunky-dory.
