I live near The Castle pub. In all the time we have lived there I havent been troubled at all by the people who stand outside, or the noise, which has always been fine, however, of late the people hanging about around the front have begun to jeer and lear at me (and I'm sure at many other girls) as I walk past. Its embarassing and rude and not very nice to come back to after a hard days work. I am determined not to make them change my route to get home and was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to cope/what to do about these pests? Thank you!

...and about the paper recycling bins for the free newspapers...?

Is there any chance that we will be getting the paper recycling bins that we were supposed to get at ED station?

It will be lovely to a women's clothes shop in Dulwich that is reasonably priced, at the moment I only window shop in Dulwich so that I can get ideas to find the same thing cheaper elsewhere! An idea I think would sell well in Dulwich would be to sell modern dress patterns as well as clothes. Lots of people are making their own dresses now but its a right pain trying to find decent modern patterns. Having a little corner with these in would be brilliant (also if they were decent prices!) Tee he! Which pond would he have been doing that in?! Its true Caffeine addict, him and his little gang were taking up the whole platform with their posh sniggering so I had to step round them at the edge of the platform, I looked back at them to give them an evil for taking up so much room (and for sniggering poshly) and thats when I saw him. I loved everyone elses reactions the best though, the platform was really crowded near him and everyone was peering over their Metros at him. Glad I shared this with you all, knew somone from here would have seen him too!

Did anyone else see Boris Johnson at East Dulwich station this morning? He ran off at Peckham Rye station. It was very amusing!

I overheard some men (possibly an owner) saying that the men's toilets would be a lot bigger. I don't think thats a helpful comment to anyone but I thought I'd add it anyhow.

Hi, I'm not sure if there's anything to be done here apart from change people's habits. I'm really not normally one to be annoyed by things but I commute from E.Dulwich station every day and every day I notice people putting their free newspapers in the bins (the normal rubbish bins) as they leave. I find it slightly annoying anyway when people leave them on the trains but then at least someone else can read it in the hope that some nice person will eventually take it home and recycle it (I do, it takes zero effort). But placing it in these bins makes me so cross especaially when I'm sure these are the same people that dutifully sort their recycling at home. Would it be possible at all to have paper recycling bins put next to the normal bins or even a sign stating that that bin is not for recycling (please correct me if I'm wrong!) I think it would be nice if we did our bit for the old environment! Rant over, thank you for listening!

I've seen one skip in Dulwich with a sign on it telling not to put rubbish in their skip (it says how much they paid too). Makes me laugh each time I see it but its true, I think its a good idea, make a little sign, maybe these people will think twice! (also, I do love rummaging through skips!)

Hi, I had my purse taken from my bag on the 176 last month between ED station and Crystal Palace road. Its sort of camel coloured, denim-type fabric with lots of little blue birds on it, it says 'what katy did...' on the inside. It is of great sentimental value so if anyone has found it or has seen it then please let me know! Thank you
