Looks like at least the lower half (towards Peckham Rye Park) on just the even side has a power outage. Any news anywhere?

Hi, Just wondering if there are any sport clubs around Packham Common, Dulwich Park etc. Or if anyone could direct me to a better place to look. I've only been playing footie for a few years. I played some rugby back in the US eons ago and enjoyed it. Happy to sign up for whatever, so long as my skill level won't be an impediment to everyone else on the pitch!

I actually helped hold it open for someone getting their bike out last week. And yes, that building is being worked on, I don't think it's fly tipping.

I have something I need to get off my chest. When I moved to the UK 4 years ago I was staying in Earlsfield (Wandsworth). There was a Coop on the high street I frequently walked along, and I thought how useful it would be for groceries. But I never went in. I saw signs up about joining the Coop; I thought I needed to be a member to shop there. 🙈

We were in Coop this AM for a few things and that store was the clearest I've ever seen it! No restocking happening & I noticed the upper shelves had been removed?I'm assuming in anticipation of breaking down all shelves for the refresh.

Do you need any help dishing?

I?ve attempted to PM you but your mailbox is full!

Hi John, Clearly couldn't have any sort of celebration this year. Maybe 2021? JohnL Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Last year one of our American cousins came on to > invite everyone round this year (before 10 of > course) > > /forum/read.php? > 20,2044184

To what extent can an asthma sufferer help?
johnqadams replied to wee quinnie's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I found an 'ask me anything' thread on Reddit from an asthma sufferer, to give some insight of how they were affected: And a Twitter thread of another person: https://twitter.com/rosshamiltonn_/status/1241771865074434048 No major asthma symptoms. Sounds not very fun, but as a fellow asthmatic, it makes me feel less anxious about falling ill. Just have to be extra careful to not catch a secondary infection while your immune system is doing its thing. Kevin -
Post Office Lordship Lane - today.
johnqadams replied to Snowpanda001's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
For anyone trying to time anything, on Tuesday, I went to M&S around 1315 and waited for a few minutes to get in. After my shop I walked into the Post Office and there was no line at all at 1330. -
I have closed the classified sections of the forum
johnqadams replied to Administrator's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi Admin, Closing the Events section makes perfect sense. Perhaps a section for virtual events would be a good idea? Seems to be loads of them around! For the classifieds, I am likely in the minority dissent but people are still heading to grocery stores etc which have many, many more people than a brief one-on-one sale. I have found the forum invaluable in the past week, selling some WFH kit and looking for a few things myself. I'll now be looking on Gumtree, likely needing to use my bike instead of buying/selling within walking distance. We're using this time to clear out the flat and are find loads of stuff! -
Hi, We live on Barry Road and don't know many of our neighbors. Not sure how to even find out if anyone is self-quarantined but we're happy to help in any way for anyone around us. Are there any groups that are doing this? Thanks

I want to commend Thames Water for singlehandedly solving the speeding motorist problem, at least on the bottom part by Peckham Rye! It will be a jarring change once work is (finally) complete and the motorists are back at it.
