  1. I agree Onion, that's what I thought when listening to the reports. It's all very well saying there are no more nutrients but that doesn't acknowledge the many more chemicals present in non-organic food. And as has been pointed out, this study is just a review of studies that have been done over the last few years and not a scientific exercise. Personally I know which I choose most of the time.

    OASIS -

ok, maybe that was a bit harsh, they're not shit I suppose. They are derivative and I don't like their swagger attitude.

  5. There was a story recently about a clean-cut, blonde-haired, shiny-toothed American family whose picture was used in an ad campaign for an eastern European country's tourism industry. I think that was taken via Facebook.
  6. my thoughts too Quids
  7. My cats are out with the foxes every night and have never come to any harm.
  8. or perhaps it is an example of someone who has drunk too much before posting, i.e. thebeard. I think a sign for me is that when we pass Oddbins youngest always wants to go in.

no - why? Is that the secret?

    SWine Flu?

I've caught flu once I reckon. It was in 1999. If that is how often I get seasonal flu, how likely am I to get swine flu? Doctors?
  11. yeah blud

  13. 8am would be fine for someone with older kids. My youngest doesn't get going till about 8am so would work for me. Would be a great idea after a night on the tiles!
  14. Seriously loaded though. I like them.

  16. The cream works, tablets - Jury's out.
  17. We just bought some today.....
  18. Definitely nowt to do with the Pacha clubs. I've always been intrigued by the place and wonder what the rooms are like. I did think when it first opened that it might have rented the rooms out on an hourly basis if you know what I mean, but then it had its rather swish makeover.
  19. mayan symbol crop circle Oooooo, wooo woooo. what do you reckon?

  21. "If it were a fair system then they would get a TAX rebate for sending their children to private school" I think that comment is taking the argument into the realms of the ridiculous frankly!
  22. Yes thebeard fair enough but your comment doesn't address the latest issue which is what we want to discuss. Not rehashing the argument of state versus private which can run and run. Interestingly there are traffic monitoring sensor wires that have just been put into Hillsboro Rd (along with a lot of East Dulwich). These wires went in the day before Alleyn's closed for the holidays and therefore will not show a true representation of the traffic, in fact there is hardly any traffic when the school is closed.
  23. I once met someone who had a breed of cat that was hairless, I would imagine that's good for people with cat allergy. It was pretty ugly though.
  24. um, this argument has been running and running with no posts since April. Private versus state yadayadayada. Mlteenie has come on with a discussion regarding their possibly underhand behaviour not consulting with the local residents and you are all ignoring that. I think there is a valid discussion to be had regarding this most recent news.
  25. spilt drinks MP - surely not?
