OK, just got through to SO and apparently parcels sent to SE1 for sorting and delivery - not storage - which does make more sense. With hope, normal service resumed in next few days I have been told.

I spoke to my postie this morning from the Silvester Rd SO, he said that a truckload of parcels and packets was sent to SE1 for storage last Monday and he had no idea when they would be back out for delivery. Can't actually get through to SO to ask them about it as the phone is constantly engaged. I'm waiting for 3 parcels of items bought and paid for online and they are most likely now in storage until who knows when!

I love Strictly, it does cause arguments in the house though.. Kids get jealous of me paying attention to something else for a couple of hours a week and so does Mr. Asset even though he secretly likes it too. Anyway, I was a bit disappointed to see Felicity has succumbed to Botox, that forehead cannot move a jot it's so frozen, does a fair bit of yoga though by the looks of it. Michelle Williams is dreadful, so wooden, Pamela was good but I can't bear the luvviness. Who's the guy Scott - he looks like a gangster, good dancer though it seems. Patsy a bit crap but nerves mainly it looks like. Let's hope the dresses are better this year than last year's. My guilty pleasure.

Personally my bug bear is chewing gum on the pavements. At least butts can be cleaned up fairly easily. Next time you're wandering around in town look at the pavements - totally covered in chewing gum splodges. I think Singapore had the right idea!

Well Huge, I would say that if one was to experience a fully gastronomic experience under your definition i.e. immersing oneself in all cultural indulgent possibilites, then you would not be able to rule out a bit of long pig, obviously you have no moral and ethical objections as they rule out the true gastronomic experience.
