the people who need to listen wont... The people who will be affected are the minimum waged staff at mcdonalds and starbucks who may have a molotov cocktail or a rubbish bin turfed through the front window of where they work. a few police will be injured , simply doing their job a few protesters will be injured because they'll fight amongest themselves. a few city staff may get abused or have a bit of paint thrown over them cost of the actions will run into millions who will pay the millions US !! the taxpayer thats what grinds my gears today !!

  14. I came to England because its where my dad is from and at the time had not seen him for 25 years. thought it might be worth a visit. I arrived in '99 and planned to stay about a year (including a trip around europe). 10 years later, Im still here and plan to stay a lot longer, so , yes it lives up to my expectations. and yes , I pay tax( lots of it) and national insurance and have never had a government handout.
  15. So Bellenden rd and surrounding area mentioned in the papers yesterday. didnt read it but have been told its quite positive apparently "bellenden village" is the place to be buying. if its a village , when is the village fair? , Is there one , should there be one , would anyone be interested in organising one. also what else is required for a village to be a village whats the differenece between a hamlet , a village , a suburb , a town ? Too much time on my hands today I think.........................

    April 1st

I have some friends in the police and they are not looking foward to the coming weeks when G20 is about. they have had reminders about "restraint without injury". mobile lock-ups have been moved in from other areas of the country to be able to cater for the large amount of arrests they are planning on having to deal with. and have just heard , loads of starbucks will be closed and boarded up while its going on ( this may just be rumour )
