I do exactly as Mac4 described, but I put the venting hose out of my patio door and just use cardboard from Amazon boxes to temporarily block the section of the door. It works great. The evaporative coolers you mention work for about 5 minutes but as soon as the ice has melted, it?s just blowing warm air?

There must also have been costs associated with the design of these banners and having them installed on the street lights? I hope someone responsible for this scandal reads these posts.

Does anyone else think these banners are yet another example of taxpayers' hard-earned money being squandered? Surely Southwark Council could put the money to better use.

Although this doesn?t affect the speed of buses, I only ever travel on a bus when I really have no other option. This is because of the unpleasant behaviour of other passengers. Some put their feet on seats, some drop litter, others talk very loudly on their phones, some are so rude to the drivers...

Bus journeys are definitely taking longer. The 185 is often stuck in traffic between the oval and vauxhall bus station since the cycle lane ( hardly used) was created. Also the Boris Johnson buses take longer than other buses because the rear door on them seems to have some kind of opening and closing delay.

I used to take plastic carrier bags to Tesco in Surrey Quays for recycling but since the start of the covid pandemic, they do not have this facility. Anyone know where I can recycle these responsibly?

I have become so used to wearing a mask that it?s almost second nature to me. It?s really not a big deal and it?s just considerate to Others to wear one.

I was walking through the cemetery this afternoon and wondered why so many gravestones seem to have toppled over. Some headstones are very large and I would imagine extremely heavy...

I have been taking things to charity shops. (If you?re a UK taxpayer and subscribe to gift aid, the charity can claim an extra 25p for every ?1 donated).

I am with Shell Energy and i have not had any issues. In fact, I was recently upgraded to fiber without even requesting it. (The monthly subscription did increase, but only minimally and in line with other providers).

I agree, Cox?s walk and the woods are immaculate and I have never seen any litter there either which is why I was so surprised to see so many rats in that small area (A205 entrance)...

Not only a lot more graffiti but also fly-tipping... Surely some people must see these crimes being committed?

Is there anywhere that I can recycle Tassimo t-disks locally? I have checked the Terracycle site and the nearest locations are Acton and Hanwell :( I feel really bad throwing these out with my general refuse as I always try to recycle as much as I possibly can.

The pics posted by Licorice Twist demonstrates far better than any Of the other pics what the problem is and how bad it actually is. The litter in the video is appalling. Just how many people are on the hill to create so much mess? One thing we could all do is call 101 - the non-emergency police number - as soon as the crowd becomes noisy or there is any sign of anti-social behavior. If enough people report this issue, then hopefully something will be done to resolve it. Please don?t assume others have called the Police.... play your part and do so too.

These photos are becoming a total distraction from the real issue. Let?s focus on what reporting actual problems and concentrate on how best we can deal with them

There was a lot of aggressive shouting coming from Dawson?s Hill last night. At times it seemed quite threatening and it sounded like adults (a man and a woman) having an argument. It didn?t sound like teenagers.

Are people still gathering on Dawsons Hill?
