Has anyone bought and fitted a Ring doorbell Pro? This one requires mains electricity and using a fuse they supply. The reason I ask is it seems a little complicated and not sure if I need to get an electrician to help! Thanks

Aston came over today to fix 2 doors for me. He was punctual, fixed the problems, tidied up when he finished and the bill was reasonable. Very happy, and would definitely recommend and use him again.

Hi and thanks for the response. We want includes my child wanting.we would like her to pass her test before going back to University so she has the option of driving a car. We have an automatic and therefore want her to learn in a manual. Any other suggestions welcomed. Thanks

Hi there. Our child is home from university. We want them to learn how to drive and pass her test ASAP. She can?t drive our car for various reasons. Just wanted some advice - if you can?t practice in a parent?s car are you better off doing an intensive course of lessons? Many thanks

Seems like you have enough info to get in touch with the council. We did this a few years ago and the thing I found annoying was how much it cost. The council outsource this and it is a set (very high) price.

Not sure if I should be writing about the village given this is East Dulwich forum!? Anyway in case I am allowed I just had a hair cut at the new hairdressers opposite the Crown and Greyhound pub. They are very courteous and very good and it is great to have a local business which is needed and hopefully be supported by the community.

Would definitely welcome a waitrose. It would be a further step in the right direction for LL. I think this is one of the few missing things.

I hope they go for an independent restaurant like Chapter 2 (Blackheath). If someone decided to actually set up an independent well they would clean up v the chains (P Express and C Rouge). I would love to do it but feel that I would then be a candidate for Ramsey's Kitchen nightmares!

I don't know if anyone has seen that Piaf has finally closed for business. Hooray! I am amazed it has limped on for this long given it can't have been covering its costs for many years. Does any one know what is going to take its place?

Just being nosey but can anyone tell me which film they are filming in Dulwich ( a few houses down from the Village and East Dulwich Grove crossroads. Apparently there are very well known actors in it?

I drove past the wine bar (Springers) on East Dulwich Grove and there was a sign saying that William Rose was moving in! Does anyone know whether this will be another shop or running their wholesale business from here? Thanks
