  1. If one person thinks homeopathy (and all other alternative medicine) is a sham and waste of money, and another person swears by homeopathy and has found great relief since using it: why is the person who thinks it is a sham so desperate to stop the person who believes in it believing in it?

  3. The direction this thread is taking is really worrying to me.
  4. Huguenot Why are you so vehemently against complementary medicine?
  5. I'm gonna apply for a job at the BBC so I can take advantage of this pronto

  7. I don't know about Homeopathy but TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) and Acupuncture definitely works. As does Shiatsu.
  8. What has Bono down now?? I've never had a problem with him, although I have found him to be extremely sweaty and pale.
  9. I went to university with Killer Cam. He is a shocking individual.

  11. One of my defining moments was getting wrongfully arrested by the police and detained for 24 hours. Long story but it made me realize that being born in the UK does not necessarily make you British or a citizen with full rights, in the eyes of certain people....
  12. When compared with Brown, Cameron, Bush et al - no, Obama is not an a-hole.

That disgusting smug rodent-faced organic champagne-swilling creature Cameron and his toff pals will make this country even worse. I pray they do not win the election.
  14. I've checked out ESPH and I like it but I think the prices are too steep for a place that doesn't even have a pool, sauna or steam room. I've seen nothing else that hits the spot locally. Why no decent local gym?
  15. I've read that it is something like one in four women who have been sexually assaulted during their childhood or adult lives.

So more council housing then?
  17. Giggirl, I've definitely read that people claiming JSA indeed can claim Housing Benefit to cover interest-only on their mortgages. They have to have below a certain amount in savings though I believe.
  18. I took the 185 from Syd to Victoria this morning. I was actually accosted by a prebuscent girl in school uniform with loads of attitude.
  19. It's right that the government should pay rent for unemployed people so that they don't wind up homeless. I see no reason why the State should help someone buy their home by paying their mortgage. If somebody's really desperate they need to sell their home, rent privately and then duly claim housing benefit.
