I?ve often wondered if those concrete rafts by the lake in Belair are also emplacements. -
Last time I was up there, people were bypassing the blocked off bridge by going down the slope and up the other side as well as hanging out underneath it. This part of the woods had been fenced off for years and nature is probably taking a bashing due to it. I wouldn?t be suprised if the council or Estate have taken more drastic action. Like everywhere right now, footfall had increased everywhere, bins are over flowing and dog shit bags, masks and litter are everywhere.

We?re getting the odd thing posted to us during the last week but I?ve been waiting for some items since late November and the first week of this month. Bottom of the pile now (or nicked/binned).

How is this acceptable? I left my house to walk to the station at that time yesterday and couldn?t believe how empty EDG, I crossed without breaking stride.

^ Maybe they should read the signs.

I have to drive to Orpington to work and have had to start using the A20. It?s not barriers which are the cause but road works in Downham and Bickey. It?s taking 20mins extra each way.

Abe_froeman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That's true AP, and only you have to look at the > success of AFC Wimbledon to see how strong that > constitution can be. That's bollocks. Wimbledon FC had a large fan base many years ago, even the groundshare at Palace and then the re-franchising to Milton Keynes never stopped their supporters aim of getting back to playing in Merton which they're are imminently about to do. The new AFC Wimbledon fans packed out Champion Hill in their second ever match and repeated it against Fisher a few years after. There's no comparison with a club of Hamlet's present status. Not to mention their bullying of their then landlords at Kingstonian.

The two DHFC Directors have answered plenty of questions, many of them a response to the same misinformation over and over again.

Are all residents of Court Lane, etc pleased about the blocking off of the junction. What was once a short hop to Herne Hill now involves either heading back to Lordship Lane then either using the South Circular and then back through the village or Croxted Road or heading down Lordship Lane from the Court Lane junction or via Eynella and then EDG? EDIT:Just back from a dog walk and seen the closure for the first time, Court Lane residents can access EDG via one of the side streets Dekker, etc into Woodwarde then Calton/Townley
-
Where?

Abe_froeman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What you are missing is that Townley Road, Eynella > Road and Court lane are not being turned into > gated communities. But the junction they all head towards in Dulwich Village is being blocked off so not much point in driving down them unless you live in one of those roads.
-
Am I missing something here? Surely the closure of Melbourne is to stop rat running once Townley and Eynella/Court Lane are also closed. As a resident living off of Melbourne this was something I wanted once I found out about the other roads.

What is with all the noise in ED recently?!

Motorbikes, the noise they make seems to hang around for ages, I?m sure I can hear a bike make a journey from Goose Green to the South Circular
