Had a great intro to bee keeping earlier this afternoon - so interesting to see a hive close up. Thank you Chick for the chance to learn about these little creatures right in the middle of Dulwich.

I have been waiting for a couple of letters that were posted beginning of last week - still no sign of them. Bills have come through as normal though without delays unfortunately.

Cosmonaut - Badminton at Harris on Monday nights is on from 7-9pm / ?6.50 and on Saturdays from 9am-12pm/ ?7.50 - great bunch of people and a lot less busy than Friday evenings. (they are all a lot better players than me though)

Hi there Has anyone recommendations for a nice Spa / spa day in the South East (maybe including afternoon tea, massage, facial, pools etc)? A friend and I would like to spend a birthday being pampered somewhere in nice surroundings which is reachable by public transport but not necessarily in London. I remember a few postings some time ago but couldn?t find them via the search engine. I have looked on Wahanda/ SpaSeekers but additional (and tested) suggestions would be very welcome :)

One of the courts in Harris is sometimes rented out to private bookings to my knowledge. On the other hand, the clubs are friendly and you can pay as you go - so give it a try if you can't find a court to rent nearby.

hey there, i used to be able to go onto the EDF by typing www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk into my explorer - now that only gets me an empty page (both on my pc at work as well as on my laptop). i can only get to your first page if I google the forum, then open one of the subpages and then go back to "home". this has been the case for one week now - any suggestions what i might do wrong or what has happened???

Thanks all. Will take some money just in case (and especially since last time the only thing i had was ?10 and i felt this was too much for the lady who got us our jackets and was politely standing in the corner looking very expectantly, ahh mortifying to just have to say thank you and shuffle out of the door altough admittedly nobody tips me when i do my job).

I was hoping that maybe someone on here can give a bit of advice with regards to tipping. This coming weekend a friend and I are going to make use of one of these evouchers. It is two beauty treatments followed by afternoon tea in a nice swanky hotel in town. We have paid for the voucher already but service is not included. On a previous occasion ? a restaurant visit - the service was not included either but then added to the final bill plus the drinks so we knew this was all fine. However I am not sure how to best deal with it this as these are basically three separate parts provided by three different people in the hotel ? tip three times (and in that case how much) or only at the end (in case there is a bill as it is afternoon tea so unlikely to order anything on top of the things provided)??? :-S am a bit clueless about this and would really appreciate some comments rather than looking like a scrooge (admittedly this might appear so anyway since I had to purchase a voucher deal rather than the full priced version..). thanks.:))

I have several friends temping and at the moment it is very hard. The pay is very low even for better positions and I would definitely recommend having more than one month covered for bills/ rent etc. why don't you look into doing a couple of evening courses/ seminars in a job area that you'd like to get into to gain a qualification and give you an indication of what it would be like.

There was a single brown shoe on the wall opposite the actress pub on Sunday midday. Not sure what happened to the other one or if these are the ones you are referring too but might be worth having a look there?

our next door neighbours got burgled Friday evening. that's on barry road. the amout of these incidents lately is shocking!

looks like the looting has been taken to a new level - a friend of mine send me this and despite all the current ongoings it made me smile and yes i am taking this whole thing serious but i think we have all expressed how terrible and serious the past days have been and how much we all care about our local commuty

I have seen this show a week ago and can recommend it!
