Hi all, thank you so much for all of the positive reviews! Unfortunately, it seems we can't keep everyone happy. We are not sure who "TUL" is or even what the job was as I haven't been on holiday since the summer. Getting paid at end of a job is always important and we don't do 14/30 day invoice terms. I'm sure alarm bells must have been ringing wondering if we were going to be paid on time but I am very sorry to hear that they were unhappy with the service. This is not normal as you can tell when you read all of our other reviews, we have 13 years worth on here now. This forum is my only source of work, I haven't advertised in over 10 years. I can't see why anyone would post a negative review so many months later and not give us the chance to rectify it. We do take a deposit regardless of the size of the job, I started this in January 2022 after being let down on a 10k job 1 week before it was due to start. We are not a big company so this hit us hard. 99% of our clients have had no issue with paying a deposit as they're committed to having the works done. Thanks again to everyone who has posted and I hope to see more of you EDF clients in the future.

No worries john . Totally agree any electrical or gas work for that matter you should always go with a registered qualified person thats tracablel, and liabilty insurance is a must its hardly expensive either.some of the stuff we come across by previous tradesmen is awful not to mention dangerous.

Totally agree John to many cowboys out there. I hate doing even the basic electrics always get my qualified electrician in alot safer reliable, but the governing body is called NIEC not NIC. . NIC is the governments national infrastructure commission.

Fair enough AGW3 I hear what your saying but just seems to be alot more of this than actual good stuff to hear and read don't you think?

Please can anyone tell me why there is so much utter rubbish and waffle posted on here at times amongst the glorious reviews, adverts, and informative happy to read threads. I have used this forum for years , so why do some members ruin it with unethical unrelated and boring posts????

I would like to comment on this post without judgement or opinion but that would be very difficult as I made contact with Alex and carried out the work after his unfortunate experience. As a self employed tradesmen for nearly 15 years I assured him of my commitment and reliability and he contracted me to do the work and help get him out of the hole he was in. Together my company and Alex have worked closely to complete the work he required and despite various obstacles kept him informed at all times in light of he's dubious and nervous nature due to the previous tradesmen. As tradesmen we are not guaranteed to please everyone but when you commit to a job and receive any form of payment you should follow it through and complete the job whatever the circumstances or make alternative provisions. I hope Alex redeems he's losses, and hope that I have shown him not all tradesmen are the same. It has been a pleasure working with him and kept to he's word in every respect,making my job easier and wanting me to deliver a high quality finished product even more so.
