  1. Helen Hayes is a decent MP. But like you foxy I can?t bring myself to vote for her, and potentially enable Corbyn to enter 10 Downing Street. So apologies to her and her team, but voting for them isn?t an option for me this time around. Louisa.

Yeah so multimillionaires getting VAT relief on private jet travel, factories from first/third world nations being pumped into the atmosphere for the last few hundred years, gas guzzling SUV?s being unnecessarily driven around ED by yummy mummies, people flying all around the world not even giving their carbon footprint a second thought, and you pick on me for occasionally driving into zone 5 to get a bit of shopping. Talking out your arse again ed_pete. I wonder what your carbon footprint looks like? When did you last jump a flight somewhere? Louisa.
  3. Foxy, but nothing else matters if the planet we are living on is dying. The science on this is clearer than ever. I think this needs to be a priority. Louisa.

What?s naive about voting for the Green Party? We do have a climate emergency after all, and the more potential Green voices we get in Parliament the better. They also want us to remain in the EU. Louisa.
  5. Vote Green. I had a nice chat with the Lib Dem candidate for Camberwell & Peckham earlier and she seemed a genuinely nice well rounded person. I?m no fan of the party, but seeing as she suggested the Greens would be a good alternative to the main parties, I?ll give them a go this time. Louisa.

At what point did I say I trusted Boris Johnson? I?m confused. Louisa.
  7. cella Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > All parties have these issues - the Conservatives > have a massive anti Islamic problem in addition. > Also other forms of racism - just ask Javid, Warsi > etc. Well I?m not voting for the Tories either for similar reasons, so that?s not relevant to my vote. I don?t think ?all parties? have issues with racial/religious hatred is a good justification for voting for a party either. I don?t trust Corbyn on this issue, so all his other policies will be ignored until he/Labour does. The Greens are looking like my only option locally, or a spoiled ballot. Louisa.
  8. Until this Labour Party sort out their Anti-Semitism they won?t be getting my vote. Louisa.
  9. Do the Monster Raving Looney Party still field candidates? Louisa.

Scary. > > > > Louisa. > > What is terrifying you about the Labour Party > manifesto? Surely everything about Johnsons > journey to date and the many future horrors are > far more terrifying for working people? I tell you what is terrifying, it?s the anti-semitism which seems rife within the current version of top-draw ?Labour?. A moderate and predominantly progressive movement seems to have been hijacked by a hard core sinister bunch of people who are not as open minded as they claim. It?s a shame, because genuine moderate centre left people who would like to re-claim the centre ground and stop this Tory led, Brexit chaos are being silenced by someone who has as much love for the EU as Farage and Boris combined. Louisa.
  11. I?ve spent half my life voting for the Labour Party, but I just don?t like Corbyn. It?s as simple as that. Louisa.
  12. And the Greens stood a better chance? The age of predicting outcomes based on the size of majorities is over, look at Scotland. The Lib Dem message of cancelling Brexit would have gone down well on the ED doorstep (I would have thought?). Louisa.
  13. The Lib Dem?s could have been in with a decent shout this time, but oddly they stood down for the Greens, who stand even less of a chance of winning it. Corbyn and his Islington Marxist Party and Boris with his Madcap Hard Brexit Party are the only other terrifying options this election. Scary. Louisa.
  14. I?ll be spoiling my ballot - again. Louisa.
  15. Can we ban foreign mustard now Brexit is within eye poking distance? Can?t stand the bland, vinegary tasteless muck people eat as a inferior alternative to proper English mustard. I was once fingered out in a restaurant by a friend for requesting it with my steak. At no stage in my existence have I ever felt so protective of this wonderfully spicy condiment. My friend suggested I have some fancy French crap instead, from that day to this I have remained loyal to Colman?s. Louisa.

Very disappointed because Harriet Harman is a decent MP and a decent human being. She would have made a brilliant speaker, but it seems Corbyn and his madcap Islington gang wanted to prevent her from doing it. Louisa.
  17. Absolutely agree. SUV?s have no place in our inner cities. Usually driven by entitled wealthy incomers, who drive them recklessly as though they?re on a racing track. God only knows the amount of pollution they give off. Makes me laugh when certain posters on here complain about dog poo, you might want to look at the toxic smoke being kicked out by SUv?s as a first priority towards harming yours and your family?s health. Louisa.
  18. I?d like to ban ?know-it-all? type people. But then again, this forum would have very few of us left. Louisa.
  19. Don?t spoil the fun for fishbiscuits, Sue. Let them believe once again that they?re right. I?m looking forward to that nice big plate of humble pie being eaten up. I?m assuming you?ll only eat it if it?s organic, served on a chopping board, and people can watch you eating it through a window at the latest trendy eatery on LL, or maybe we could find somewhere a bit trendier for 2019? Louisa.
  20. Bill?s isn?t due to open until 2020, but I?ll stick to the deal. And yes I probably will order the fillet mignon, just so I can prove to you that being smart isn?t your best trait. Shouldn?t you be in a fancy restaurant somewhere so people can look at you spending your money? Louisa.
  21. John I?ve only had one cheeky bottle of malbec no biggy. Louisa.
  22. Since when did Brits call sweets ?candy?? That?s what I?d like to know. We?ve become such a loser, copy cat, nation of capitalist consumerism. It?s embarrassing. Modern day Halloween can be stuck where the sun doesn?t shine, along with all other cringeworthy Americanism?s we?ve adopted. Louisa.
  23. fishbiscuits stay our of this please, you know NOTHING about the intentions of Waitrose, whereas Natty and I have already been told. I know you?re trying to look important on the forum, but it?s a bit cringe to be frank with you. Rah you might want to change it again, go and heck the planning portal. Bunch of know-it-all?s on this forum. Louisa.
  24. Who cares about Halloween. Americanised commercialism. Bring on bonfire night. Louisa.
  25. Sounds ridiculous to me. Why would anyone want to go and collect something when they can have it delivered at their convenience? Bizarre. Louisa.
