update: the neighbour admitted to hiring someone in to shoot them ALL, including 4 cubs. Although I think one escaped because I heard it last night. And i think other adult foxes came in to help in. clearly this 'professional' that was hired is not so, because the vixen escaped and it took 30mins to die. he needs reporting and his licence taken away! not sure how to get the details from the neighbour though. yes, 101 has been called

UPDATE: the neighbour at 186A admitted to hiring someone "professional" to shoot all the foxes. Not so professional as the mother got away only to die a 30 min painful death. A few of us had a bit of a shouting match with him on the street earlier today

just spoke to a neighbour who heard the shooting sounds at 1am on Saturday and then an animal yelp and crying sounds for about 30mins! this animal was not killed in a humane way!!!!

"You say the RSPCA are coming round to inspect the body for cause of death... These horrific images appear to have been taken in someone's garden. Did this happen in your garden?!" actually the RSPCA just left a voicemail saying it's legal to shoot a fox. useless! didn't even come to check how it suffered or what firearm size killed it. And someone is shooting weaponry in densely populated area! Someone also called 101 but doubt they will do anything. have followed the blood trail over a few houses but it's hard to see where it started

they killed a fox (see the photos). maybe the mother of 3 pups? (1 pup also seemed to vanish a week ago) we heard some shooting of something the other night. an airgun or catapult or something today a long trail of blood on the ground i can guess which of two neighbours it was. saw one of them today and she said they reckoned they foxes had moved on now. what an odd thing to say!!! "I'm glad - they were ruining our garden" the husband said when I said we'd found a dead one disgusted with these people. have called the RSPCA to come round and inspect the body to find cause of death original post here: /forum/read.php?5,2113535,page=1

i've started a petition and will deliver this to the guy later on. 95% of the neighbours don't want them shot. hopefully he listens and takes measure to stop the foxes digging into his garden in the first place

yes, it's all legal 'micromacromonkey' but it's a total douchebag thing to be doing to little fox cubs and all based on convenient lies about a supposed finger-eating, dog attacking vixen.

Hey there I live on Crystal Place Rd and want to create an audio-visual collage of collective Covid-19 reflections. A hearty broth of shared learnings and aspirations for when the world 'unpauses'. An art project of sorts, but hopefully something providing insight and comfort. Perhaps some of you want to contribute? If so, I invite you to add text, audio or video via the website or FB group: www.selfisolationstockpot.com https://www.facebook.com/groups/2746004398854288/ (please join/like) Stay healthy, and thanks! Trapped terrapin turtles need your help! Just walk into Lordship Dry Cleaners and take a look for yourself tiny glass containers with little terrapins going mad trying to get out call me sensitive, but it made me mad/sad - the thoughtless nature of humans sometimes please do go in there and ask them a) to clean the algae out, b) to get a much bigger container if more people ask perhaps they will do something I already told RSCPC but it's probably too minor for them.
