As I have said many times in many places. Get rid of all speed bumps on main routes where buses and lorries are supposed to go and where the through traffic should be. Also change these back to 30MPH, get the traffic flowing. Then the side streets/non main roads should be for cyclists, walking scooting and access for residents cars etc with speed bumps and 15 or 20 MPH speed limit. I am fed up driving along at 20MPH being over taken by motor bikes/scooters and other cars. Unfortunately the current design used of speed bump cushions etc are rarely ones that can be navigated at the permitted speed limits without damaging your suspension or your joints. So sorry every one but many I have to slow to 10MPH or it causes great pain. (Eg Wood Vale, Southhamton Way, and most if not all of the raised flat crossings like Foresthill Rd. Before anyone chips in with comments, I cannot cycle, walk far, scoot or use public transport and have the huge cost of running a private small car otherwise I would be housebound. I am also not suggesting to ban walking etc from the main 30MPH Roads, but hell people need to learn road safety and how to cross roads etc again like this ol fart did.

Genuine question for people who refuse to wear masks.
Chunx replied to Ronnijade's topic in The Lounge
They should wear clear full face visors. I do that (got mine from diy place) protects me and others to. Plus I check my temp and O2 levels before I venture out. Now I also do a lateral flow test at home. I dont want to think I gave it to t -
I notice they do not include groups to represent disabled people ie Altziemers society, carers uk, National Autistic Society, Scope to name but a few of many that are active in Southwark. But yet again you have a disability so you dont count and your needs are once again an after thought. Your challenges to live an independent life are over looked and not considered in any way when governing bodies review / change things.

Here here remove all the London wide LTN?s, all they do is cause more congestion. Not everyone is able to walk, scoot, cycle or take public transport. Let the roads be open so traffic can freely flow. Teach everyone how to use the road correctly, yes a red light means stop whether you are scooting, cycling or in a motor vehicle. When the ULEZ is extended pollution should be a lesser issue as less polluting cars should become the norm.

Was always told never own unless it is freehold, with a lease you are only ever renting the land your property stands on. Also if the leased property is within a block/estate good luck with deep pockets when it comes to major works/ maintenance charges. -
I hope that these and any other planting/removals has Southwark councils permission and is in alignment with their BAP. The council a couple of years ago removed many cherry trees which had grown either as natural propagation or from unathorised planting. This is an area of scientific interest and has several lesser found species in Southwark which they are trying to preserve. An orchid and a meadow primrose if I remember correctly. So even seemingly innocent scattering of seeds can disrupt delicate ecosystems. Please be mindful, it is for the pleasure and wellbeing of everyone, only leave your footprints and take only your experience and memories. Thank you.

I know its horrific had small item ordered end of June should have been delivered within 3 days, didnt arrive after 2 weeks - replacement sent, still no sight of after couple of weeks, lots of emails to vendor and calls to sorting office. No resolution so 2nd replacement sent track and trace sign for. This to sign for was popped in my letter box within 48hrs, earlier this week, along with the one postmarked June 30. Then 2 days later the 1st replacement arrived. I now have the inconvenience of retuning the extras. Then today an item not expected til mid Sept from far east arrived by Non Royal Mail delivery. Go figure I think the Royal Mail for Dulwich is In a right royal mess.

I suppose that when the uninitiate are handing over their hard earned cash or signing their lives away for the rip off cost of ownership on what is a social housing estate, they are not told about all the joys of bad sound proofing etc. All they want is what they saw on telly in the right price range with a lovely view. I know if I was handing over the sort of prices currently on right move etc I wouldn't be a happy bunny either.

For your information there are many non old disabled people whom live in Dulwich that now find all of these road closures to cars an infringement on their basic human right. Having any additional challenges when attempting to live independently is bad enough, but when we are not even considered I think is discriminatory.

I do not agree with closing off any roads. This disadvantages those whose only mode of transport Is private car for health reasons. Now with covid everyone is discouraged from use of public transport, which will inevitably mean more motorised vehicle use = more congestion, hence all road restrictions should be removed. IMO

And how will car reliant disbled peopke get around. Why cant every one use the pavement on the left side of the road to walk on? Like cars drive on left.
