  1. Cheetah has now been missing for 11 days, so time is of the essence if he is trapped. Please check sheds, garages, renovations etc. and keep a general eye out across the gardens and streets of East Dulwich for a lost-looking, big and friendly tabby. Many thanks.
  2. Thanks very much Lynds. Cats can survive for quite long periods without much food, so it's still worth searching and trying to find them. Good luck.
  3. Thanks so much everyone. I've been amazed at the goodwill from people in this community. Missing the tiger so much, hoping he might just stroll back in one day.
  4. Hi Abil and intexasatthemoment, This is very kind of you. However, the info on Cheetah's whereabouts is not very precise now. We thought he was near Crystal Palace Road and had been injured, but it appears that was a different cat. The last probable sighting of Cheetah was Saturday 22nd on Upland Road. He could be anywhere. Please bear this in mind if you plan to go out and search - we've been out calling for him with biscuits in various streets with no luck yet. Many thanks.
  5. UPDATE: Cheetah is still missing from Fellbrigg Road since Saturday 22 September. Please keep an eye out in streets and gardens (sheds, renovations etc.) across East Dulwich for this friendly tabby in the attached photos. (The injured tabby seen in Crystal Palace Road now appears not to be Cheetah, but another cat whose owner is still searching for him in that area). Thanks very much. Adrian (07788 414791) and Jacqui (07958 509564)
  6. Hi Angelina. We did that with flyers in the relevant areas over the past few days. It does feel a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack. I just fear he's crawled under a fence, car, overgrown garden, building site.
  7. Thanks everyone. Really appreciated.
  8. UPDATE: Cheetah was seen yesterday limping out of Holmes Close into Oakhurst Grove. Please keep an eye out. Thank you.
  9. UPDATE. A lost-looking tabby cat was seen yesterday limping out of Holmes Court and into Oakhurst Road. Could be Cheetah? Please keep an eye out. Thank you.
  10. Thanks Siousxiesue. I've heard this too - although you can use anything that smells strongly of the cat. I fear he's a long way away now, but it's probably worth it in case he gets near enough again to smell it.
  11. Thanks for your kind words Soane. Yes, I have to admit it's an emotional roller-coaster, especially as he could be injured. I've done as you suggested and posted on the EDF main section. Fingers very firmly crossed.
  12. Cheetah has been missing from Fellbrigg Road since Sat 22 September. A cat we believe to be Cheetah was then found on Tues evening (25 Sept) in a garden on Crystal Palace Road, badly injured. He got away and was spotted the next morning limping up Solway Road towards East Dulwich Road. He could be anywhere now, but if injured he could be hiding in someone's garden, under a car etc. PLEASE could you check your gardens, cars etc. and keep a general eye out for him especially round Solway Road, Crystal Palace Road, Oakhurst, Crawthew, The Gardens, East Dulwich Road, all the streets north of East Dulwich Road and around Peckham Rye. He is usually very friendly, but if injured he may be scared and look slightly different from the photos. There is a very small chance that the cat found on Tuesday was not Cheetah, in which case you'll just be looking for a lost-looking big tabby cat, probably in a wide area of roads around Fellbrigg. Thanks very much. Jacqui (07958 509564) or Adrian (07788 414791)
  13. PLease keep an eye out for our lost tabby cat Cheetah. Many thanks.
  14. I realise this is not the usual EDF section for missing cats, but as Cheetah may be injured, time is of the essence as he may need to get to the vet. Hoping admin will let us keep it up here for a few days. Cheetah has been missing from Fellbrigg Road since Saturday evening 22 September. He was last seen lost and crying around Lacon Road and outside Pitstop Garage on Upland Road - and this was the night of deluging rain so he could have sheltered somewhere and got trapped. Equally he could be anywhere by now. PLEASE could you check your gardens, sheds, renovations etc. and keep an eye out across East Dulwich. He is usually very friendly but by now he may be scared. Thanks very much. Jacqui (07958 509564) or Adrian (07788 414791)
  15. Hi Catherine. I have sent you a private message. Thanks.
  16. Cheetah is still missing. Someone has just told us they spotted him miaowing very loudly outside Pitstop Garage, Upland Road at midnight on Saturday. He may be somewhere in that vicinity (he seems to get lost very easily, perhaps due to his damaged sense of smell). He's very friendly and vocal. Please keep an eye out ??he needs to come home for his daily medicine and he is very much missed. Thank you.
  17. Once again, this forum has done us proud and Cheetah has been found. Thanks so much Mscrawthew for finding him - he'd wandered quite a long way.
  18. Our grey/brown tabby cat, Cheetah, has been missing since lunchtime yesterday (4 Sept) which is unusual. He has a condition for which he needs daily medication. He wanders through Fellbrigg and Ulverscroft roads and gardens, and has been known to wander in Whately, Silvester and Pellatt Road (which is where he was found last time he got lost). Please look out for him and let us know if you see him. Many thanks.

Service Status still saying > nothing but if you call them an Aut.Tow.Mate.Ted > message says they are fixing it. "Engineers > working hard, complex issue, taking longer than > usual..." No date given. We used to get these conflicting messages from Virgin Media for two years until we left them. One engineer even admitted that VM know there's a significant problem with connections in this area, but it's not on their priority list. I suspect they rely on customers staying with them rather than go through the bother of changing provider.
  20. We were with Virgin Media (for Broadband) until a year ago and the service was atrocious. They had perpetual problems with connection in this area, and repeatedly promised they would fix the issue in ED by certain dates. That was over a year ago, and it's clear from this thread that nothing has changed. My advice: change your provider. It takes a little time, but for us it was the best decision ever and we've had absolutely no problems with our internet connection since then.
